Also, why do you assume DJing is some easy thing anybody can do?
Read my post properly... I'm just trying to figure out what you actually did for this mix apart from cutting instantly between two different songs. I thought you were meant to take elements from different songs and blend them together to create something new and different

I was blending samples instead of entire songs, which is where I think I hit problems. I'm uploading the remastered version right now. Listen to that one, then tell me if you like it.
The transitions were better overall
DJ'ing is something easy that most people can do.
DJ'ing is something easy that most people can do.
Doing it well in a club is a tad harder though. Gotta get buildups right, gotta keep a good feeling. It really is based on feeling. Yeah beatmatching two songs isn't hard but do it for an hour without mistake. Anyway, it also depends on what you define as djing. Something like what daedelus does? I don't think anyone can do that. Something like really good hip hop turntablists do? Im positive there are few people that good. Like what kid koala does, plays a sampled trumpet by "scratching" it at the right speed so it plays a new melody. It's pretty ignorant to just declare djing is easy.

There's battle DJ's who can scratch some of the most insane shit ever, but if you put them in a club they'd be lost. Then there's club DJ's who know everything about the club music scene, but if you put them in a scratch battle they would get destroyed.
Wait, this isn't a joke? [editline]29th September 2011[/editline] I retract my funny rating.
