Greymen , so far done them standing , standing with a smg , dancing (yes , I'm crazy enough to do that) , running like hell (that green thing is a headset).
Any tips?
I don't like them, they're too blocky and the gun is puny.
arms look too angular and straight
Gun is small.
The entire body, excluding the head, are rectangles.
^This.
Work on basing them off on people shapes. To a certain degree, you can't make a fully anatomically correct sprite of a human. >_>
Look at a picture of whatever you a spriting. Especially if it is complex.
Good luck finding pictures of cavemen. XD
I totally forgot about the SAKs today.. gonna do it tomorrow, I had to go for an eye exam anyway... is now mandatory for my welding course if you want to participate that is.. I don't know why... Meh. I guess it's to make sure you don't fuck shit up.
What could be important enough in welding to need good vision?
:P

That's what I did :/.

So you don't weld someones arm to the table.. or fuck up and use a e6010 instead of a e7018.
Trust me.. there's not just a difference in the numbers.. e6010 are deep welds.. e7018 are surface welds.
so welding thin metal with a e6010 will result in holes. XD I've learned the hard way.
I gotta cut a piece of Mild Steel at a 45 angle, and then weld it with a 6010 tomorrow..
Mild Steel is really heavy duty shit. Like, Super Metal. (Super Man)
Anyway. yah, I'm home now, I'm gonna start working on the SAK.
Check it out. Started work on my Arachnos army. The five guys with scales in the corner are from a unit size reference card I worked off.

cruddy recolor with only black and red
which look like they are standard colors off the MS Paint palette no less
i did it in gimp fyi
also it's not just black and red if you bothered to look for more than five seconds
[editline]07:05PM[/editline]
although i do agree the colours are kinda hard to make out
[editline]07:05PM[/editline]
i'll work on that now in fact
Honestly, don't post somebodies work here duncan. We don't care about your shitty recolors.
...I need halp, I suk at spriting.

Okay, well first off you should remove the black lines on that thing, and replace them with a darker grey.
The colour of the window looks too bright and ugly, make it a bit darker or change the saturation.
Some more contrast on parts would be good, as some bits look flat.
The unit on top of it isn't that special either. The grass texture in the background looks kind of ugly too.
The colours are quite dull as well, a better palette might be good.
OK, I've been working on Swiss Army Knifes.
So far, for tools I got:
Knife (Soldiers)
Spoon (Diggers)
Hammer (Makers)
Pickaxe (Miners)
Scissors (Builders)
Gun (Hunters/Soldiers)
Screwdriver (Builders)
Any other ideas?
We could help you more if we had a picture of em
Yahh... I guess. XD

It looks better with the black outlines.

Umm.. do you know what pw is? That's way too huge to even be in an army.
Yah.. I didn't see that till now.. I don't even use the rating thing.. soo... :D
it wasnt the finished thing, it was more of a sketch of what i thought one would possibly look like.
(also he actually isnt that big..

That's still pretty huge for PW.

[editline]04:52PM[/editline]
