The scene with the stoner was pretty funny until he started talking about [sp]the family that got shot up by the invaders.[/sp]
"How funny are dogs?"
From the trailers I have seen it looks pretty bad in my opinion.
And how the producers think it's going to be running along side Harry Potter and Twilight just because they are all based off a top-selling book doesn't make me want to see it any more than I already do.
Also one part in the movie (only seen trailers) one of the kids say
"What do your instincts tell you?"
then that chick who used to be on Neighbors says
"That it's time to go to war"
Who the f**k would say that?!
Also, why are they bombing the absolute sh*t out of a country town?
The movie was very good, almost totally true to the book and definitely one to see.

You obviously have not read the books. Wirrawee is the a country town on the highway towards Cobblers Bay. A major shipping dock where the enemies can send troops in via boat.
Loved the books, but I'm still not entirely sold. The main chick annoyed he hell out of me on Neighbours, but I've worked with the asian guy on a kung-fu short film. He's pretty good.
