Awesome. I've been following your music since you first posted stuff on Facepunch, very excited for this to come out.
Me too, I bought the stellar EP and all <3
thanks everyone! for the record though, this isn't the actual album. it's the halfway mark for the album, the first 7 of 15-20 tracks. the second half will be more aggressive, and even crazier, with some stuff you might also find familiar.
You guys probably don't care, but this seriously means alot to me.
I haven't uploaded anything in a while, but I think I have an album (or at least a really strong EP) in the works! Stay tuned.
Since FL I now constantly press ctrl + s to save EVERYTHING in every program that supports file saving ever.
I ctrl+s my projects so frequently that the "s" on my keyboard is starting to chip away.
Balls, I've come up with a great chord progression for a song, but I just can't get the feel right for the rest of the song.
Balls, I've come up with a great chord progression for a song, but I just can't get the feel right for the rest of the song.
Happened to me last night. I was working on a melody with a rhodes vst and it sounded funky but I couldn't get the drum progression I had in my head.
welcome to costco i love you
You are too fucking good, this is AWEOSME
[img_thumb]http://puu.sh/1gYwy[/img_thumb] just gotta wait for my friend to finish the guitar stuff so i can finish this thing. waiting sucks...
Quite a big achievement for me.
Anyone else get really frustrated when you finish a new song, it's the best thing you've ever made, and to you it sounds fantastic. You then play another similar style song from another artist and it sounds 1000x times better, crisper, clearer and heavier? It's like there's some sort of black magic going on.

Comparing my songs always kills my mood to produce because my stuff always sounds like shit, so I don't ever bother anymore.
Ableton Live 9 looks sick https://www.ableton.com/en/live/new-in-9/ foaming at the mouth

[thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8733190/IMG_0333.JPG[/thumb] Hammond organs. Hammond organs everywhere. Just got the one towards the bottom of the picture for free today. It's gonna be used for gigging while the big beastie in back remains for home studio use.
Ableton Live 9 looks sick https://www.ableton.com/en/live/new-in-9/ foaming at the mouth
christ alive its so beautiful and that controller aaa - posted in wrong thread -
Might get that for the scale/chord grid alone.
$650~ isnt too bad a price either, imo its a better value than the maschine. gonna start putting money away immediately so i can nab one of these later on also i bought an mpd26 last night and a sony usb turntable a few days ago. didn't realize how rigid the launchpad's pads are until i got to play with the mpc-style pads on the mpd. launchpad still rules if for no other reason than being able to launch clips really fluently
Push can be 599 USD if you are upgrading from a previous version of Live.

I'd get an APC40 if anything.
hahah that reminds me of the controller propellerhead makes which you can buy for like £450 WELL WORTH THE MONEY
Looks like an audio interface to me, rather than a controller.
you know what i mean

Then there's the parameter display under the knobs, the modulation touch strip, the fact that it has about 8 million dedicated buttons. Pretty much looks like it could control every single aspect of live from one controller which is pretty fucking amazing. Honestly, I would give up two APC's for one Push any day.

Definitely not overpriced.
Which makes it comparable to the Maschine that is also $599. Definitely not overpriced.
Yeah it sorta is, but I don't think they actually share customer bases. Maschine is a lot more focused on groovy stuff, hip hop and whatever and is meant to emulate the workflow of an MPC. The Push is definitely more a performance tool/Ableton Live controller/electronic music thingy. While you can obviously use the maschine for edm and the push for hip hop I don't think there's much overlap in markets here.
