Yeah it sorta is, but I don't think they actually share customer bases. Maschine is a lot more focused on groovy stuff, hip hop and whatever and is meant to emulate the workflow of an MPC. The Push is definitely more a performance tool/Ableton Live controller/electronic music thingy. While you can obviously use the maschine for edm and the push for hip hop I don't think there's much overlap in markets here.
with that point, i was expanding on what you said and arguing against dead madman saying Push is overpriced; not trying to discuss the marketing side of it.
Flashy lights doesn't make a product worth that much, I'm sorry if you feel that way, but to me it just seems a lil crazy.

And yet you'd rather have two flashy lighted APC's over one Push
And yet you'd rather have two flashy lighted APC's over one Push
Nope, it's bigger, more reliable and is just better all round (Regarding pricing and durability)
how do you know its more reliable when the push hasn't even been released

The APC is big and bulky, it's very trusty and looks/feels better than most composition controllers out there.

Maybe the Push is also very big and bulky and reliable. lol dude we know barely anything about it, not much point in arguing.

yeah but multicolored pads are genuinely useful and like i said, velocity sensitivity and touch strip. And this is just what I figured out from the video, it obviously has a LOT of dedicated ableton buttons.
Woah, I just got an email saying that a track from my old account is reaching the 100 download limit. That's pretty crazy

It apparently has like 3000 plays too :v:
Anyone know how to fix this? It's stopping me from finishing one of my projects.

Remove the file from your sample folder, launch FL, then put it back in, if that doesn't fix it, then perhaps look it up a little.
Fuck this I've tried everything.
This might be the kick in the pants I need to try Ableton out again.

It could easily be an effect plugin on the bus of that channel..

There isn't any effects on the bus channel. It's just a straight up sample.

If only there were some way you could edit it by converting the FLP into a .txt file...
I'm sure you could do that at one point.

What exactly is the problem here?
I've had this warning before, and iirc it sorta fixed itself. It had the whole "blabla and has been corrected" part, and it actually corrected whatever it is that was causing the problem.
Try opening the project, saving it as a new version, and then opening it again.
[editline]29th October 2012[/editline]
Also, if you bought FLStudio, and aren't running a *cough*demo*cough*, you should try asking for help over at the Image-Line forums.

I can't actually save it as a new version.
Hmm.
What if you delete that sample from the project? Can you save it then?
Hmm.

Can't. I put it on a laptop with a fresh install of FL without any of my samples or plugins - same error.
Gave it to Dead Madman to try delete it - same error.

Do you at all know how this could have initially happened? Or is it all a surprise to you?
Do you at all know how this could have initially happened? Or is it all a surprise to you?
Complete surprise. It's happened before but then I could just click ok, delete it and be on my way. This time it's happened to 2 of my projects.

Have you considered reinstalling FL? It seems to be the only solution I can conjure up

Already done it multiple times.

Do you have any backups in your backup folder you could use to recover your project from a certain time/date? You'll obviously lose stuff if you find one that works.

No already checked.

Wellp, I'm out of ideas, how far were you into the production process? Could you perhaps recreate it?
Today I ripped through all my plugins and deleted like, half if not all of them
I'm testing out this new idea that too many options leads to poor production due to indecision and too many choices. Maybe now I'll properly master the basics.
I'm really inexperienced with recording music. I just recently bought an 1/4" to USB cable for my guitar and was wondering if it's possible to use it to listen to the guitar via the PC and the speakers. Is that possible or do I need some sort of mixing table (again, I'm not very bright when it comes to this)? ...

You could do within a DAW like FL studio or Ableton, they have playback for a mic input
