Anyone know any realistic acoustic guitar vst's?
East West Goliath seems to have some nice sounding guitars. Go to 5:00. It's probably really expensive though.
Does anyone know how to restrict input/highlight notes in Logic's piano roll that are in your selected key signature? For that matter, does the keysig in Logic even do anything useful?
Anyone know any realistic acoustic guitar vst's?
Pretty much none, tbh VST modelling with guitars is still absolutely awful

Does anyone here use logic? If so, do you think it's worth the price? I'm thinking about getting a mac after i land my first job, and iv'e heard alot of good things.
Yeah, I switched to Logic from Reason and I dig it. Pretty simple layout and depending what you're using now the switch should be easy

Most VSTs are also available as AUs, and if they're not you can use a wrapper. But yeah that's my #1 complaint with it. Stock instruments are good.
Didn't want to start a new thread, but anyone recommend a good acoustic guitar for a beginner that costs about £100? As long as it doesn't sound cheap, I just wouldn't want to invest too much right now in case I go off the idea eventually!
Does anyone have any experience with the Tascam US-1800 or Tascam audio interfaces in general? $300 is really cheap for a 16x4 interface with 96k quality. Is there something I'm missing here?
the US-1800 is great, but it wont last you longer than a year because the USB port will die out
this isn't very good but i had fun making it and i like it so maybe you will too oh nevermind i guess i made something illegal whoops

Also, some of my favorite producers use it. But on another note, iv'e got one last question for anyone willing to answer. I love facepunch and all, but does anyone know of any forums based primarily on music, where maybe i could get a bit more feedback / criticism?

If it's EDM and such reddit will do you, if its something a bit weirder find a community of fans of that genre and ask them

Don't know if anyone remembers, but I got ripped off after buying prodigy and noisia tickets. It turns out that life is not all bad, though! My girlfriend has bought me tickets for noisia in brighton in a couple of weeks. Supported by neosignal and dose. I have never been so excited for anything in my life, 5 hours of pure unadultered neurofunk and techstep from my biggest influences.
I guess this is a prime opportunity to tell everyone my good news then ; I'm being signed to Plasmapool, alongside Mord Fustang, Joe Garston and Miles Dyson for 6 months C:

I was watching some videos of demos at a conference and they even mention the Roland models they're copying. Roland have such a great legacy with their legendary machines. They're obviously still desirable as they go for so much on eBay, but Roland is too busy making shitty boring digital keyboards with six thousand unusable sounds. Funny how Korg actually knows what's going on with electronic music making these analogue, affordable boxes. Do want.
I don't see how they are copying roland? I mean, I understand the drum machine could be seen as a TR909 wannabe but you could say that about almost any drum machine under the sun, the TR909 is that big As for the monotron and MS20 series, they're both based on korgs MS series and have nothing to do with roland

Korg Volca Bass: TB-303: Seen some demos and the Volca Bass also seemed very suited to acid bass stuff. But anyway, I'm not being derogatory to Korg, people love the Roland gear so Korg are giving people what they want, in Roland's absence.
Oh it does look like a TB303, hey. I didn't pick up on that that's really great, i've always wanted a tb303 but they're so expensive and the mc303 line isn't worth ti
