I guess this is a prime opportunity to tell everyone my good news then ;
I'm being signed to Plasmapool, alongside Mord Fustang, Joe Garston and Miles Dyson for 6 months C:
Sent the contract last night! Hopefully some exciting opportunities are heading this way for me from now on :v:
School is about to be the death of me, I just got done writing this 16 page paper for my education class, aka the teacher work sample. And I have a conducting exam tomorrow at 8 am. I've literally haven't had much time these past weeks to get much composing done, sucks.

Don't worry, sometimes alot of stress/breaks from writing music can be used as a prime source of inspiration towards your music, so don't see it as purely negative C:
Oh it does look like a TB303, hey. I didn't pick up on that
that's really great, i've always wanted a tb303 but they're so expensive and the mc303 line isn't worth ti
unfortunately nothing sounds and feels like a tb303
that volcabass sounds more like a sh-101 and it doesnt have the slide or the accents so youll never get that tb303 squelch
funny enough considering the volcabass has an lfo and three vcos its actually far more advanced than the tb303
true, although it does have slides

I've noticed that whenever I get into a rut where I completely despise music and everything it stands for, as long as I just keep on trying to make music (and hate myself in the process) I always come out on top and create something new and fresh.
It also gives me a new and fresh perspective on my own songs as well after I get these ruts (I usually listen to my own music when I'm hating music and despising it, then after said rut I find new things I like about them instead, and get a clear perspective on my music. I mean sure some of my music sucks now when I look back on it and compare with newer stuff, but sometimes I get these good ideas that just needs to be reworked in the older songs that I can re-use.)
A bit unrelated, but what do you guys do when you make music, do you strive to make the perfect song everytime you make music, or do you keep churning out songs, always trying to make new music?
Personally I try to make as many songs as I possibly can, then I usually revisit old ideas from songs and make new ones based on them. It usually means I get songs that usually sound quite related to eachother, but I figure since I don't really put them into albums and whathave you it is ok, since I can just view all my music as finished unfinished pieces or something.

Has anyone had any experience with this keyboard?
I'm considering getting it, since it's cheap, it has got some neat features and some pretty good sounds, I think:

Finally getting my computer upgraded! Right now I can't even use NI Razor (which I love) because my processor is so shitty. Should not have that problem with Intel i7 and 16 gigs of RAM (previously 2gb..) :v:
