Tie breaker! But honestly, I drive much more carefully solely based on the fact that I'm high. Plus, I find it kinda fun!
Maybe others can do it, but personally, there's no way in hell I'd get behind the wheel stoned, so I voted unsafe.
I've done it many times. I'm not a bad driver when I'm high, but I sometimes forget where I'm going. I hate doing it, and I know it's dangerous. I now avoid driving whilst stoned at all costs. Voted unsafe.
like quick stops from 7-11 or something...can't do far drives
I wonder how many people who voted can actually drive
Just drove all the way across town completely blitzed. No problems. It really isn't that hard.
We drove from Denton, TX to Austin, TX... (a four hour drive) Started out sober.
An hour in we started smoking. We smoked most of the way there.
Best road trip ever.
When I'm sober, I drive like a bat out of hell because I hate driving. I want to get to where I'm going as quickly as possible. However, when I'm high, I pay a lot more attention and just enjoy the ride. I always speed when I'm sober and never when I'm high. When I was first learning to drive my Eclipse, I was stalling it a lot and couldn't get the gears down perfectly. I actually hadn't thought about driving a manual high before I bought the car, and I was really afraid that it was going to suck. However, the very first time I drove the car high, I shifted perfectly, never killed it once, and have been an all-around better with the transmission ever since then.
In short, ehhhhh I know it's probably bad, but I feel like I'm a better driver when I'm high.
I've driven while stoned, and another time when drunk.
I would say driving when stoned is safer, although still a very stupid idea, my reactions slowed down and I was finding it hard to focus on the road.
And besides if you get caught driving whilst high, it's the same punishment as being drunk, so it's not worth it.
I know people that are horrible drivers while stoned and others who are great drivers while stoned.
I personally get better at driving while stoned. Don't know why.
A rule of thumb is that a person who drives bad the majority of the time will get worse when stoned and a good driver will drive good or better.
Anyone here tried driving whilst tripping? :lsd:
How about DPH? Some crazy fuckers have done that from Erowid..
I've only driven once while baked, and I found that I drove about the same as before, but I had no idea where I was going. Know what I mean? Like when you get in an argument while driving and you have full control of the car but you miss turns and shit?

Yeah, I've driven on DXM, shrooms, LSD, LSA
it's fuckin hard. I do my best to avoid it
Anyone here tried driving whilst tripping? :lsd:
.
I KNOW driving while tripping is a really bad idea, but me and 4 friends were in a really isolated place, hadn't seen any cars there all day. So I thought it would be fun to listen to music while doing donuts. It was.

dxm??? the fuck?
i am completely unfunctional on dxm. I can barely walk let alone drive.
Although i love driving on shrooms. Very fun... But i'm super paranoid after i got arrested last time so i avoid it as much as possible
dxm??? the fuck?
Yeah, it was fucking hard.

I'm fairly surprised I managed to get home alive. Thankfully, it was like 2 in the morning, so the streets were empty.
I tried it. The worst part is you get lost or forget where your going..
Driving on DXM is weird because I always feel like it's my first time behind the wheel.
you guys must be talkin about low dosage dxm trips because when i'm at 3rd or 4th plateau i am fucked out of my mind and can't even function. (youtube search: darnel on dxm)
Last trip i though i was gonna die and i just sat in a recliner staring at a wall while my legs shaked uncontrollably whilst i scratched my overwhelming itch as i hallucinated shit on the stairs and thought i wasn't breathing.
To attempt to drive on that? Lol i'd rather be hammed out of my mind
How many milligrams?
over 600
Eh. I drove on 700 before. I will admit that I probably couldn't have on 1,100 though.
i also weigh 128 pounds
over 600
Oh man... I drove on ~400mg. No way I'd try it on anything higher. It was still hard as fuck

It was funny. I started coming up in the Taco Bell drive-thru
I've driven friends cars to destinations when I'm stoned and drunk, but only because I was in a better state than them, and we were traveling on rarely used rural roads. Of course, I make sure to be extra careful (and I usually drive quite well), since I don't even have my license yet. Its pretty fun (my friends '98 Ford F-350 standard transmission, my favorite to drive for sure) but I do my best to refrain from it, since it would be the shits to get caught.
This is fucking dumb guys, driving on DXM. The fuck?

I'm inclined to agree. No matter the circumstances endangering other people's lives is NOT cool.
Done several times. Never had problems worth speaking of.
Anyone can do it.
Being stoned doesn't affect my physical abilities much. I drive exactly the same as I do sober, including in situations where I need good reaction time. I've braked in time to avoid hitting a deer when I was stoned once.
People think it's unsafe likely haven't tried it, or are affected differently by cannabis.
DXM is a horrible idea though, as well as benzodiazepines. Psychedelics depend on the dosage, but are for the most part safer than alcohol.
Any CNS depressant is a bad idea. Stoned driving is okay in my opinion. Psychadelics are a big no no too. It should be fairly obvious. I really condemn DXM driving though, that's seriously irresponsible.
