BUT don't get the wrong idea. The crime and corruption is mostly where "they" are. And in the Cape area and George, it is the best place in the world to live. We don't have fences there, and the Province is governed by Hellen Zille of the DA, and she's doing a fucking good job despite the negative stream the ANC puts against her to make her fail.

2.6% are Indian/Asian.

Okay, I grew up in South Africa. I moved to Australia recently. So many people are mistaken about my country :saddowns:

Anyway.
South Africa is beautiful in some parts, ugly in others. Same with almost every country.
South Africa's government is what you get when you mix oppression and bad decisions. Politically and socially, it's in turmoil. Which really makes me sad :saddowns: because with out humans, or if the social/political aspect of South Africa corrected itself, it would be an amazing and beautiful country.

But yeah, it's a beautiful country and there are so many things to experience.
Who here has thrown a potato at a leopard? (Me at age 8 :3: )
Or has had their car chased down by a pissed off elephant bull? (Almost every time we went to the Kruger National Park)
Or saw two hippos fight to the death? (That actually happened on my return trip- I have it on video somewhere)
Or saw an elegant cheetah kill a springbok? (Trip to Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Namibia)
Or saw a leopard drag its kill into a paperbass thorn tree? (Every trip to the Kruger)
God, I have so many stories.
National Geographic doesn't quite capture the adrenalin rush you get from seeing nature in action.
But Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Namibia are also absolutely beautiful countries.
The Grasslands in Mozambique, the sand dunes and ocean in Namibia and the wild life in Zimbabwe. Absolutely amazingly stunning.
To be honest, I'm proud of being South African. I'm proud that my first language isn't English and that because of my experiences, I can truly appreciate the beauty of life and death.
(Sorry- rant. I'm homesick.)
TL:DR; It's beautiful in some parts, not so much in others.

But our main flaw is that the majority of the population is native African. And I don't care if I get banned for racism as I am speaking the truth. Unless the black is well educated and grew up amongst whites, they are a violent, destructive force that people who live in countries where they are the minorities don't know of.
A very small example: The trains in the country run late due to power cables being stolen. SO they do their typical Toi-Toi (a riot type of protest, and they do this for anything). And then their destructive side takes over.
Africans solution to late trains? They burnt all the trains down. They fucking set the trains on fire expecting the government that they keep electing to fix the problem.

I agree completely. And I mean, the whites are to blame too. There isn't exactly a very strong bond between the cultures, from apartheid and everything, and now the blacks are doing exactly the same.
My family still lives in SA and they're struggling to meet ends meat because it's so difficult to get a stable job if you're white.

And funny about that, I went to Amsterdam last year too, and we could talk Afrikaans to the people there and have fluent conversations.

Yes, I was searching up about the 7 hour war, and came upon gmod from that. I tinker a lot, building wtf not. Trebuchets, pneumatic cannons, dirtsufers, electronics etc... so when I saw what gmod was, I had to drink a glass of sugar water. I don't play it so much anymore (I used to live in it, only pulling myself away from the utopia to get essentials for survival) and I play a lot of quake live.
I am in the UAE and I have 6 Afrikaaners just in my grade! We have Afrikaans group after school, usually with a dutch friend of mine leaching around for food. I'm going to Stelenbosch in 1.5 years.

Africa wouldn't be such a shit country if all the other countries could remove their head out of eachothers asses and stop exploiting Africa for their own purpse.
Why they don't help Africa? Because it costs money, and they dont get any profit out of it.
