bob page had the right idea, if not the right execution
Can anything ÷ 0 technically be infinity? Not 0. "Undefined" yes. Still not 0. Something only a dumb rater would maybe understand.

that's not an opinion, you're just factually wrong

Do not confuse calculus with algebra
Infinity is not a number, you can't base reality on infinity, you need set values

No one got the reference.

Can you not fit an "infinite amount of zero's in a number"? Hell I've even heard some professors say that, but still stick to 'undefined'. I'm already in the box rating hole. No going back now.

You can't use "infinity" like that unless you're dealing with limits. And even then, that's "approaching" infinity.

But even then you have to be careful, since lim x-> 1/x doesn't even exist.
You can make sense of things like "x/0 = infinity" if you're working with an alternate system like extended real numbers or projective space, but it's just not true in usual arithmetic.

Infinity is not even a real number, so it doesn't make any sense to have an operation that leaves the set it's defined on.
[editline]26th February 2018[/editline]
Actually I am now remembering that it's not even the case with extended real numbers. Certain operations with infinity are defined in it, like a/infinity = 0, but you can't rearrange it to get a/0 = infinity.
The Stick of Truth could use a remaster so as to utilize The Fractured but Whole's grid-based combat system

Under the real number system infinity isn't a number.
The reason that this generally isn't allowed and is determined as undefined is because allowing it to be either 0 or infinity introduces fallacies that break shit.
For example multiplication is just the inverse of division.
If "infinity = 1/0," then "infinity * 0 = 1" should work too. If we double both sides tho, nothing changes on the left, so you've just expressed that 1 = 2. That's one example, there are other cases such as with asymptotic limits making you say that negative infinity is the same as positive infinity.
There are times when I just don't want to see any anime characters(mostly anime girls) in my line of sight.
No offense anyone.
I think Bad Reading/Bad Typing should make a return, it feels silly to rate dumb when someone either types lazily but their post isn't otherwise bad.
Some girls should wear very little to no makeup. Drowning their faces in makeup isn't attractive; that just makes their faces look weird as shit.

UK girls especially, when they go clubbing
feels like if you touch their face the make up comes off
sometimes its so thick that you could see it as a layer
and goddamn it when the eyeliners are thicker than panda eyes

You rate dumb over typos?

Bad reading is useful, but in most cases bad spelling felt nitpick-y. It's rare anyone makes enough spelling errors for it to be worth rating and we don't need a whole rating just for typos.
You rate dumb over typos?
No, because it feels overly harsh. But when people really just shit over the keyboard, I want to rate them somehow negatively - Bad Typing would fit well.
I before e, except after C is an incomplete rule. It's I before E, except after C, unless it's an A as in neighbor and weigh.

This is like the same level of terrifying awkwardness that ensues when you ask a lady when she's due only to find out she's just fat.

Except that's an accident. This is just... good god, how little self-awareness do you need to do something like this??

Can't tell how (un)popular this opinion is... I never liked feet and inches. I wish the U.S. would just jump on board with the meters thing like the rest of the planet.
