What if you're thinking of everyone?
The whole "Humans are the REAL monster!" trope I see in lots of movies and shows (like The Walking Dead or Avatar) I find it so goddamn annoying, and it has been overused to death too! I find it refreshing when a movie or show dont make the humans look like assholes, shit like Tremor or Fringe where, Humans, while not perfect, at least they arent all a bunch of assholes. Star Wars did a mostly good job with this and Star trek did it pretty well... except for STD.
I'd like to reevaluate what I mean by animals. I don't mean furries,I mean animals in the way that you literally want to fuck an animal IRL.
I’m losing my faith in free speech seeing how it got abused so much. Agenda spewing corporations, ideology extremist and people who don’t know any better. All of these are making me see that people just cant be trusted with free speech in this day and age anymore. It would’ve even out if freedom of speech went both ways but the truth is, it’s always those in the wrong that always gets more publicity.
But without free speech you wouldn't be able to speak against the bad things in life....
"- So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law!- -Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?- -Yes, I'd cut down every law in England to do that!- -Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned 'round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man's laws, not God's! And if you cut them down, and you're just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I'd give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety's sake!-" William Roper and Sir Thomas More, "A Man for All Seasons"
Kaiserboos are just as bad, if not worse, than Werhaboos.
The ability to act in a free manner is what separates empowered humans, true individuals, from serfs. You should never give up your rights just because of the actions of a few because rights are things that are almost always impossible to regain once lost and you will regret giving them up.
People need free speech, corporations do not. Trump said, on the path to presidency, that he believes we should be able to sue the media for inaccurate, harmful reporting. For some reason nobody in that thread seemed to agree, but tbh it's a pretty obvious necessity when they spew bullshit and straight-up lie as much as they do.
I can name three things that McDonalds needs to bring back from the dead The Vanilla/Chocolate swirl. Closest thing we have now is the local carnival overpricing it so as to exploit an ice cream flavour's extinction McDonald's Pizza (The pizza you won't belive-ah ooohh) Create Your Taste, because ordering a regular angus burger as a lettuce wrap is... not all that great tbh. (Besides, no big mac sauce)
The McRib needs to be a permanent menu item.
I don’t know about the McRib, but there’s a similar burger here that’s sold only around Lunar New Year called the Prosperity Burger which is a chicken or beef patty with silvered onions and barbecue sauce. You can also order a double variation of it with 2 layer of meat. God it is to die for, I can’t believe why haven’t McDonald put it on the permanent menu already.
people who live in countries without the mcspicy don't know what they're missing out on
Here's one for Bond singers: Radiohead < Sam Smith, Tom Jones and Andele > Sam Smith, Shirley Bassey > all.
implicit types > explicit types
Why do you hate other people reading your code? Altho there's advantages too, it's just like many things where it depends on what you're doing
Unironically liking G Gundam more than the other Gundam series.
I feel like Microsoft should look into working with Intel in regards to making an x86-64 smartphone, so as to cram the full Windows desktop suite into a phablet package I reckon something like this would make for what would essentially be a digital multi-tool, since it could also double as a TV stick PC for productivity, or if you like to walk around with those bluetooth game pad, could also be used to play low-end Steam games including but not limited to Streets of Rogue, GZDOOM, most fully 2d games and probably Disgaea.
i dont like the lord of the rings movies, at all
I think Battlefield 1 is trash.
Judging someone by their ancestors is a fallacy.
I just wish it wasn't so shut on phones. Everything is crunched together its impossible to read thread titles.
I don't really like any of Ubisoft's FarCry games. Granted, locations in these games are always unique, and from a conceptual standpoint plots are interesting (Heart of Darkness-esque narrative of FC2, descension into primal ferocity in FC3, etc), but the way these stories told is deeply unsatisfying, and characters are not really engaging. The shooting is mediocre, the game world feels plastic and artificial, and the main gameplay loop gets repetitive and boring pretty quickly. It's not my cup of tea.
I don't care too much for Charisma on Command.
I especially miss the usercp
Dark chocolate best chocolate.
Unless it's one of those 70%, 80% or 90% cocoa bullshit
white chocolate is superior to dark chocolate
White chocolate isn't even actual chocolate though. Those ones are the best.
I hate the little short descriptions that people put about themselves on Twitter. It feels like they're dehumanizing themselves to be a product on a shelf, trying a few catchy phrases to attract an audience. I'm not meeting the human being at all, I'm meeting a self-made online caricature of them.
