Often times it's not to clarify anything but to make my sentence sound less harsh.
While YongYea's videos on Battlefront II and Shadow of War mean well, they feel incredibly one-note on the problem. I think his videos talk about microtransactions and boycott at least 10 times.
I find them pretty hard to watch because, for most of their videos, I'm not really sure if they had a reason to exist.
Could basically just open the news article they're based on, put a cynical spin on it, and then you'd save about 10 minutes.

Most people I come across can't stand it so I think its reputation is divided at best. I like my stouts to have a little more going on, but I'd take a Guinness over most of the usual suspects on draught at a low-end pub any day.
Yeah I am the only person I know beside my dad that would drink a Guiness.

Loot in games is boring, I hate swapping weapons every 5 minute because I found a slightly better one on some mook's corpse.
I never understood the loot obsession. 95% of what you get is worthless trash, and most of the stuff that's useful is just stronger versions of things you already have.
Attacking peoples' maturity for how they respond to types of media is such a strange response.
I do find KH somewhat cringy, largely because I find its two "halves" to not go together very well at all. The Disney stuff is great, it's a really fun usage of those characters and that tone, but that's really at odds with KH's own lore, which resembles the Final Fantasy stuff much more and imo, not in a good way.
What makes me cringe a little bit is uninteresting lore which is clearly trying to be "epic and sweeping" or whatever, but just comes off as dry, melodramatic and wholly uninteresting.

I think Bethesda missed an opportunity to make a multiplayer Wolfenstein game, especially considering The New Colossus' ending
Its taking children adventure films and combining them with really cheesy anime, anime with horribly over-designed cloths and weapons. It being totally and completely tone deaf to plot doesn't help either.

The Diamond/Platinum/Pearl Pokémon games had the best, most compelling gym leader music.
Platinum (and Diamond / Pearl) was a beast game because I remember actually having to put in effort to beat the Champion rather than "I'll get a Lv.70 main guy...and everyone else can be Lv. 32". Cynthia was a badass without having to look like a badass. Fuck Flint's Rapidash though.
That's just part of the experience.
The gameplay will always be tight, though.

TBH Luigi is the only good Nintendo character. They should just end all their current series to focus on making more Luigi focused games.
some people think botw shouldn't have a post game, but I think it would be awesome if it did. I was kinda disappointed after I beat Ganon and couldn't see how his death would affect everyone else

Unlocking characters in a fighting game isn't fun. By the time you've got the character you wanted you've probably mastered a different character who you're likely to either never play again or just stick to because you spent the time to learn that character
This post was totally not brought upon by Smash Ultimate having 12 out of 65+ playable out of the gate.
