what samurai jack is? it's a show that was on cartoon network/toonami during the mid 2000's. very stylish, often light on dialogue opting more for atmosphere, great villain, came back this year fopr a closing season

I was the same. The art style and general animation of the show made it look much lower quality than it was. It wasn't until years later that I realized [sp]kid me was right and Samurai Jack was okay at the very best[/sp]

That's not going to happen anywhere and especially not in the middle east. A lack of science is not the problem here, the problem is that there's a huge amount of blowback from the artificial borders that were drawn up by the British and French. The current conflicts in the middle east are the borders going back to a "natural" state.
Reddit is a pretty cool place.
To add onto this: how upvotes work isn't completely shitty and does have its place. While for some sorts of threads, it's annoying, but there's one sub in particular that I love because of it. R/AskHistorians. Pretty much all the actually useful answers get sorted to the top, and the rest you never have to lay eyes on. Basically in that case it makes it a lot easier to find helpful and informative answers and not have to sift through garbage to find one.
Looking at the popular music in Canada, a part of me thinks that Love Love Peace Peace would unironically be an important lesson for Canadian pop musicians

Baseball was the only thing I got invested in as a kid. I still watch it and if I'm lucky I'll go to a NBA game when the ticket's aren't expensive as hell.

Same, I tried watching it again before season 5 but I still wasn't into it. I really liked the focus on atmosphere and straight action at first but it gets boring after a while because there's no overarching story so it never feels like Jack's getting anywhere or accomplishing anything.
