My year-old phone is still amazing and I'm going to keep it until it breaks.
I am still holding onto my 2008 flip phone. If it works, it works.
My Nexus 6P literally feels like it cant be improved upon. Its so good.
I was stuck with an old Blackberry for probably 4 years, and an old used Sony Xperia for 3 years as well and only recently had an iPhone 6s for roughly a year now. I never really felt the need much to change phones annually, and especially with this current phone I have since I only need something to text, call and communicate with people and some light browsing or gaming to pass the time.
bleach qeef was right about everything he said tbh
bleach qeef was right about everything he said tbh
Doesn't really take circumstances into account. Say I actually gave a shit about wanting to try weed, who am I going to get it from? I don't have any friends who smoke it, my family who did at one point is either gone or definitely unwilling to help me, and here in Oklahoma it's not exactly sold in stores or even close to legal. It sounds like a lot of work to try it and tbh I couldn't be assed even if I did want to. [Editline]a[/editline] I'm way too lazy to go hunting for a dealer or interact with all the sketchy assholes from HS who might have the connections
bleach qeef was right about everything he said tbh
Only if you have a completely retarded definition of masculinity.
bleach qeef was right about everything he said tbh

What do you get from being a "man"? Like, what does it do?
Well every time I get a new phone i always feel as if the old one was better in a bunch of ways. But i upgrade every 3-5 years and usually it's cause someone else gives me the phone. I miss buttons. Touchscreens are great for maps but i don't care for selfies so its just about more shit in everything else.
the majority of phones I've owned have been hand-me-downs from my parents or other family members. I get them for free, saving the money I would otherwise spend on a new phone, and I get all the necessities I need for a phone, like calling, texting and web surfing. I'm not picky in any way. Currently have been rocking a samsung galaxy s4 for god knows how long, it's acting up at times but it still does what a phone needs to do. that's all I can ask for. so personally I don't get why people swap for new phones so often but live and let live
I just got a ThinkPad T430 from 2012 and I can confidently say that this is the best laptop ever made
if you're 200+ pounds, that doesn't make you a man, that just makes you overweight in a vast majority of situations
I beg to differ; I'm like 300 pounds and there's honestly too much man here for most people to handle.
You're more than a man, you're men
Not yet, I need to get to 400+ pounds so that I can split into two 200+ pound individuals, who will thus be men on the basis of passing the mass requireiment.
if you don't beat your women into submission you aren't a man am i right guys [editline]16th September 2017[/editline] you are also not a man if you dont call people faggot all the time to show your confidence and masculinity and avoid doubts of homosexuality right???
I like cover bands more than the actual bands their covering. [sp]I feel raped just saying this[/sp]
Counting early access games as unreleased always seemed really silly

What do you get from being a "man"? Like, what does it do?

gives you a good, satisfying life. i would rather be dead than some pushover wimp
I would hardly call insecurities satisfying. :v:
Why is manliness about being insecure to you? To me manliness is about being able to.face your insecurities and overcome them. I don't agree with what bleach said completely (I don't drink cause alcohol is filled with xenoestrogens) but I see a lot of young men today who just seem to mope around with no gas or vigor, and its a bit upsetting to me

Quite a few both men and women have no gas or vigor to do much.

[editline]16th September 2017[/editline] masculinity is a joke, that's my unpop opinion.
masculinity is a joke, that's my unpop opinion.
Whole masculinity/manly and femininity/womanly are its own cans of worms that varies from person to person honestly, as word to describe something they are useful as saying something is good or bad, tells us nothing how and/or why it is good or bad.
gives you a good, satisfying life. i would rather be dead than some pushover wimp
How though? Like, what's the magic?
That's more being an active inspired adult than manliness really.

that's hardly anything to do with manliness and more about confidence in oneself.
those are traits i would say are masculine. that sense of confidence and boldly moving forward (in life or in general) are what makes me feel like a man, so to speak
masculinity is a joke, that's my unpop opinion.
that's quite sad. are you conflating masculinity and machoism? people's idea of the 2 seem to have been merging a lot lately
"toxic masculinity" has become an SJW buzzword but I think it's definitely a real thing that could use some discussion and study this goes for several things that SJWs ruined the perceptions of, like privilege
How though? Like, what's the magic?
what do you mean? who do you think gets more out of life: someone who speaks their mind and isn't afraid of conflict, or some suck up yes-man too scared to push the envelope?
if you're 200+ pounds, that doesn't make you a man, that just makes you overweight in a vast majority of situations
200 pounds in muscle with 10% body fat is masculine as hell
what do you mean? who do you think gets more out of life: someone who speaks their mind and isn't afraid of conflict, or some suck up yes-man too scared to push the envelope?
Both. Right now you're telling people how to live their lives according to your standards, but does any of that matter if the people are fine with their curent siruation?
Both. Right now you're telling people how to live their lives according to your standards, but does any of that matter if the people are fine with their curent siruation?
If you think that being walked over and pushed around your entire life is an acceptable way to live then there is no point discussing this because you have such a different mindset to me
I do not agree with excluding asexual persons from the lgtbq movement, a movement that understands how exclusion feels.
that's hardly anything to do with manliness and more about confidence in oneself. [editline]16th September 2017[/editline] masculinity is a joke, that's my unpop opinion.
So would pursuing femininity be insecure or is it just masculinity that's bad?
