I didn't hear about the CGI for [sp]Tarkin[/sp] prior to seeing the movie, and while I vaguely noticed what seemed to me like a very subtle hint of CGI, I wasn't entirely sure whether there was actually any CGI involved with him or not at the time.

I punched my bully too and that managed to solve part of my problems. Now what would have happened if I was incapable of phisically fighting back? What if it was only verbal abuse? What if it was a gang of kids? You gonna fight them all at once? Kids that are victims of bullying often times feel isolated because they feel like everyone is against them. They don't fight back because what's the point? Everyone hates them anyway. Might as well just sit there and take it.

Besides, depression is a mental illness. If someone ended up killing themselves chances are they weren't in a healthy state of mind to begin with, and thus don't have the clearest of judgement. I was shoved, brutalized and ridiculed by children whom knew I could not retaliate for being one to two years younger than they were. I had to fight my way in and out of recess every day in high school. Two months isn't shit, I was bulied from age seven to age fourteen, and I punched more than one gut trying to exit the vicious cycle. I incurred many punishments for defending myself from people twice my height. Your experience is not worth shit. It just isn't. The problem only solved itself when people grew the fuck up and stopped harassing me for being tiny, which coincidentally happened as I started getting tall. I've had to seclude myself from my former peers for a time before I found the strength to forgive them and function among them as if nothing had ever happened. So yes, your opinion is unpopular for a reason: you need to grow the fuck out of it now. Don't go around teaching that kind of bollocks to kids.

You're seriously overestimating institutions' power over these issues, especially in places like the US. If the abuse is solely verbal or social, there isn't shit even the most progressive administration is going to be able to do about it. And if it's physical, tough shit, it's their word against yours. Most school administrations are generally either apathetic or poorly equipped to handle these situations, and you would know that if you so much as realized the world isn't limited to your own personal experience.
