swiping is so much faster in my experience. chip readers always need a few seconds to process and then you gotta enter your pin and then its gotta process that whereas i used to be able to just swipe the card, hit cancel for credit, and be on my way within 3 seconds.
PIN is safer tho' - my card can be held against the reader to quickly pays purchases under 25€.
Hence cash is king
Only in countries where credit card readers aren't common, which they are here.
Or just PayPass/Wave it and not be slow either way.
Hypotheticals are a blight on the gun control debate.
the concept of contactless payments terrify me, they're so convenient, but Holy shit are you in trouble if you loose it.
'triggering' is a valid term for people with mental health issues and it fucking sucks that its now associated with sjws getting offended
the concept of contactless payments terrify me, they're so convenient, but Holy shit are you in trouble if you loose it.
This is why I own two smartphones. I have some old Samsung that I use for work and school only, I have had this phone for a few years now so if I lose it or someone steals it from me at gunpoint it just won't really feel like a loss. It's only purpose is doing smartphone things, like playing music, texting, doing calls, storing non confidential documents, taking non personal pictures and pretty much anything that doesn't involve important information. A few months ago I got a Moto G4, which I only use when I'm gonna travel by car and stay inside buildings like malls, movie theaters, etc. I use this one to make payments without debit card, take pics of family or friends, plus I also keep personal information in there, like other bank accounts, passwords, notes, confidential documents and such. The phone is encrypted, requires password to be used and I keep around the IMEI code at home to brick/wipe the phone in case it gets stolen. When you go to banks here, sometimes there is situation where bank tellers or clients inside the bank notify other criminals and organizations how much money you're carrying, so these people come from whatever place they're hiding and fuck your shit up to steal money from you. So instead of going to "any bank", I go to the one which is owned by the coporation I work for. They're trusthworthy and unlikely to share information.
I am only okay with cash-only for Restaurants. Otherwise, the business is probably there to launder money or something.
Like furniture stores, laundrymats and middle-tier small restaurants that are always empty and never go broke for some reason.
I think Orville is awesome and tbh the idea of the necessity of the typical "leading man" actor is antiquated
youtube drama is fucking annoying, I just wanna watch content
youtube drama is fucking annoying, I just wanna watch content
I don't know what's worse, the idea that youtubers would be so arrogant as to think people would give a shit about their childish personal garbage, or that there are people who actually do care
I enjoyed Godzilla 1998 more than Godzilla 2014.
I enjoyed Godzilla 1998 more than Godzilla 2014.
"That's a lot of fish."
As far as single player goes Battlefront 1 is a significantly better game than Battlefront 2. In BF2 they removed half the best maps from the first game and replaced them with boring open field maps, they also skull fucked the AI meaning most of the time they just stand around and the ones which do run around don't have any form of squad cohesion. BF1 didn't have squad tactics but the maps actually having corridors at least grouped up teams so it looked like they were working together. Battlefront 2 is great if you're playing multiplayer, but the single player is fucking awful compared to the first, and it mostly comes down to the game having a lot of bad maps. Even some maps they took from the first game were made worse by making them symmetrical for no reason. [editline]10th October 2017[/editline] Also, space battle maps suck. There's no need to have 6 variations on the exact same map. It's just a different skybox and the handful of large ships are in slightly different configurations. It wasn't at all worth the sacrifice of ground maps.
I thought this thread was for unpopular opinions. Here's one; I like AMFP more than TDD.
I'm pretty sure most people who hate AMFP hate it because it's a walking sim, not because the lighting is ass.
For game performance, I prefer scaling down the resolution instead of sacrificing other graphics settings.
Mission scoring for games which are story-driven Health bars and bullet sponging in general. Fuck em. I don't care if your character is wearing AR500 chest armor, I riddled you with bullets. Argument with someone and they start responding in their own language that I don't speak, thinking they win. You're avoiding the conversation, not proving your point.
The US Super Nintendo looks like shit.
The US Super Nintendo looks like shit.
Somehow, I'm more nostalgic of the Super Famicon Controller. Probably because its buttons are red, blue, green and yellow, I guess
I dislike Rick and Morty
I think being an avid pokemon fan at 18+ is gross. There's just something repulsive about pokemon that anyone over that age should understand.
I think being an avid pokemon fan at 18+ is gross. There's just something repulsive about pokemon that anyone over that age should understand.
ok peta
I think being an avid pokemon fan at 18+ is gross.
I think being an avid pokemon fan at 18+ is gross. There's just something repulsive about pokemon that anyone over that age should understand.
I too have joined a dog fighting ring because of Pokemon
Incoming 'wow, you guys really hate me' whining post again.
Incoming 'this is the unpopular opinions thread so i'm allowed to spew garbage' whining post. -- An actual unpopular opinion - I don't really think the Rick & Morty fanbase is that bad. Are there cringey aspects? Oh absolutely, but that applies to every fanbase and it's just another example of a small minority being very "good" at getting more attention than the majority.
Incoming 'wow, you guys really hate me' whining post again.
Eh, I think you lot read me wrong. Go for a flippant voice, or a "I'm angry cause it's fun, fite me" voice. I don't post shit to get you mad to make me sad, I post shit because I enjoy fighting over stupid things, and then judging some of you for knee-jerk shit. I just enjoy posting and it's more interesting if people disagree. IRL I'm a real nice guy. Maybe the venting's good for me.
I'm sure you are.
I think being an avid pokemon fan at 18+ is gross. There's just something repulsive about pokemon that anyone over that age should understand.
Why though?
