People having kids when they're not ready is a very underestimated problem.
It's why my plan is to scratch off my bucket list by age 36 before raising a kid. That way you've done everything you've ever wanted with your independency and now you can tell you kid "You know Mt. Everest Little Jimmy? I went there. Yeah I did."

Are you planning on adopting?
Making kids at that age is a bad idea.

And why is that?

You're thinking that old wives tales that "The older you get the less fertile you are" and "You're kids will develop disabilities when you wait to have a kid." While it's partially true, but the percentage is so low it's nothing to worry about.
Or maybe he's suggesting its a bad idea cause you'll be ~60 years old by the time your child moves out
Eh. Not particularly.
If we're talking home living standards it really varies on how stable your household and income are.

I didnt watch the video but only one source listed actually has anything to do with defects.
http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1136/jms.9.1.2 - a very large analysis on down syndrome incidences and age. It goes up quite a bit, from about 1 in 1400 to 1 in 350 at age 35. And remember, based on his indicator of 36, and assuming a similar-aged wife, they might take awhile to actually get pregnant. That makes things even worse.
It's also not the only chromosomal birth defect, which are the birth defects that increase the most in occurrence with age. There's also some increased risk to the mother with age, such as stillbirth, c sections being required more often, etc.
Of course, the chances are still somewhat low. Calling it outright a bad idea probably wasn't great, but it's certainly sub-optimal.
there's really not that much wrong with living in public housing or with your parents
I think its a stigma in western societies, but public housing is good in Singapore, and its too expensive to live on your own.
I see people getting made fun of for the fact they live with their parents, but ain't it equally bad when you live on your own, but rent is so damn expensive you live paycheck to paycheck? Sure, you might loose a bit of freedom but at least rent is free/fucking cheap with parents.
And I know in UK its well known that public housing is bad, but it ain't the case everywhere
I used to think I have to move out for my own space but now I think its alright since I have my own room at home anyway.
Personally I would love to have something to call my own, where you can and can't do whatever I wish, with nobody to have to stand up to
Also you can't live with your partner if you have relatives in the house, it's too awkward and makes things unnecessarily complicated

There's certain times when it makes sense. Singapore is obviously a very extreme example, with 5 million people squished onto a tiny rock that just happens to be in a very strategic location, situations like those make sense for the government to step in and build high-density living spaces. And then there's also housing for poverty, which is more of what the UK has.
Though that's policy-wise. There's nothing personally wrong with living with ones parents or public housing, perhaps with the exception of if you're leeching off your parents. It all depends on your means and situations, and many times, it just makes a lot more sense even if you could move out.
Creepshow 1 is the one of most creative scary movies known to man.
Being from Ireland myself, I don't see the big deal about the Irish and potatoes.

With a "Scary Stories to tell in the Dark" movie on the way, I want it to be in the style of Creepshow 1 as it's essentially a compilation of stories.
I actually kinda like Sweepstakes and Superfast Jellyfish
peanut M&Ms are disgusting

I think you mixed up "disgusting" with "the only worthwhile kind," lol.
Well do you like peanuts? or m&ms?
Both, but together ewwwwww

Horrible opinion, I know. Gambling is bad.

Nobody ever said that gambling (including of the csgo variety) wasn't appealing, the problem with it is that it's predatory and harmful.
yea I like lootbox gambling but its a bad thing to have, unregulated
Smokers are real big cry babies.
Smoke up your death sticks you sissies. Give up all your money to people who want you dead. They're getting rich off your sickness.
You have rotted your brain with so many chemicals that now you are able to justify putting shit into your body that will irreversibly damage your self.
You smell like shit and are obnoxious. You are oblivious to the fact that you are a dumb ass. Everyone knows you're stupid. You keep highlighting this fact every time you light another.
If you disagree then you have already been made retarded by brain chemicals.

I mean I only gambled drops and winnings so I gotta say I really never saw an issue with it.
The mere thought of gambling something I spent actual money on is ridiculous to me.
Its not bad being single

have you ever heard of the word addiction
A few things regarding Microsoft...
The Windows Store. As much as i'd like to buy games from there so as to not put all my eggs in one basket, I can count the number of games i'd buy from them with one hand. I feel like MS needs to be more aggressive in getting AAA third party support for said store. (i.e: actually pay developers and/or involve themselves in any given unreleased game's development so as to better ensure Xbox Live crossplatform play). At the very least, I can definitely see Microsoft gaining some ground regarding fighting games being ported to PC.
Oh and the Surface phone: desktop OS or bust. Considering Microsoft's less than stellar performance in the mobile market, I have to wonder if they'd become much more popular if they could sell a phone with these three words: "It runs Steam" while also showing some low-end games such as Crypt of the Necrodancer, Streets of Rogue, UT2004, etc.

They're not addicted to cigarettes, they're addicted to nicotine, which is readily available in stawberry-scented vapor form.
I'd rather adopt than have my own children. If I adopt, not only am I making a kid a lot happier (assuming I'm a decent dad,) there's zero chance of the kid being born with a disability that ruins both of our lives.

I'm actually addicted to specifically Dr. Pepper. You'd think just caffeine but nope, don't really like my caffeine from any other source. Except maybe pepsi.

Plenty of them have a addiction to the action of smoking on its own as a psychological addiction
I don't have an issue with the "It's okay to be white" fliers, that are being put up by /pol/, as an object. There's no recruitment message, there's no logo, there's nothing but putting up those five words whose message is completely positive without context, which is something the fliers don't give. Context isn't given until it's seen in the news or on internet forums or social media where everyone's shitting them.
I take more issue with the fact that it took a bunch of nazi low-life inbred shit-for-brains hicks to put forth fliers or something like these, and now they serve no purpose other than to give fuel to the victimization complex they've got and potentially draw more people to their cause because of all of the anger that's being directed toward the fliers due to them being nazis with an ulterior motive. Discrimination against white people is nowhere near as widespread as other races, or as much as white supremacists would want everyone to believe, but I see no shortage random shitty racism when the latest race-based news story goes national. All it takes is a few dickheads on Twitter for someone to have a shitty anecdotal "the world's against me" experience, and add on that, while there's plenty good reasoning behind it, this is a world where "white pride" has an extremely negative context and that doesn't go for other races. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd get buttmad and join a "team" and continue pointless hostility.
What I'm really trying to say is that I think these fliers could've been a good thing, specifically if they were handed out by a well-known organization that primarily helps and fights for minorities. I hate to say it, because the language itself shows how fucked up the race situation we're in is, but if a group like Black Lives Matter put up the fliers, it would be a sort of "peace offering" that might just help reduce some of the us vs. them mentality. Some angsty teen who just read how much internet rando #6346347 hates white people might gain a new perspective if they were shown that people from the other "side" cared about them, rather than seeing people freak out about papers on walls saying that it's fine to be the race they are. The average person isn't going to give a shit about /pol/, they're not browsing fucking 4chan, to all of the general public whose news experience barely goes past the title, this is probably going to look like a kind gesture shot down by the general public because of what race they are.
tl;dr People shouldn't have been so against positively reinforcing being white, because now the only ones saying "it's okay to be this race" are the ones who simultaneously say "it's not okay to be any other race" and that's the wrong mentality we should want anyone to have.
