Max Payne 3 does something which I find absolutely infuriating, and it's also in The Evil Within and Dead Space 3, which are all games I've played recently.
It's when the game takes control of the camera to show you something and your character just stands there while the enemies move into position. Yes, thank you developers, I can see the new enemy type, but if you would fuck off and let me control the game I would have dealt with the situation already. Now I have to deal with enemies right in my face because the developers got lazy and decided to just take control away so they could force me into a stupid position.
Disney should give WB Interactive and Netherrealm Studios the greenlight for a Marvel vs DC reboot based on Injustice
I have zero interest in twitch, or streaming in general. I just don't really see the point of watching others play video games.
Or the whole twitch streamers or youtuber politics, who gives a shit what they argue about? I find it odd sometimes folks on fp care so much as well

It's interesting how much the annoyingness of things like this are affected by how long they last.
Doom 2016 does this multiple times, and yet it's never annoying, because the animations are so snappy and return control to you almost immediately. Same with takedown animations: Deus Ex HR is annoying because the animations take a couple seconds. Doom 2016 makes them feel great simply by making them last a tiny amount of time, just enough to take in the contents of the animation, before returning control to you.

I'll get flak for this, but this video was great, just not "Best Saxxy 2015 Overall" great. I mean the ending shows the guy was rushing it out the door, there are some inconsistent elements like Heavies suit and the lighting making it look very flat. Animation got very choppy too, with some parts making Hanna Barbera cartoons from the 60's look complete. If this was on a resume to Valve that you want to work there, they'd turn you down hard.
The fact that he promises to turn in a better version and 2 years later it never happened really shows how bad he planned this.

i hate losing weight
I know I can't be the first person to bring this up here but... As much as I loved the episode, the Pickle Rick thing wasn't as good as people hyped it up to be. It was just 'normal funny', and not 'let's-make-this-a-thing-that-gets-brought-up-non-stop funny'.
i hate losing weight

What do you mean?
Probably has to do with the change in diet, movement and stuff like that.
Easier said than done tbh. If you don't psych yourself into it, but also make sure you don't overthink it, you get a couple weeks in and then it stops
I'm right at the border between underweight and normal iirc, but my diet is still pretty bad. I find it incredibly hard to make any changes because of how particular I am when it comes to food. I can pretty much only manage to make improvements and get my daily values through dietary/meal supplements like soylent.

in my experience changing diets i have found there are 2 main reasons to gain/lose weight in different forms.
First, you can lose muscle or fat depending on activity + what you are eating or not eating.
For some people, cutting calories might be it, for others, its the nutrients you are not getting.
I noticed when i weighted 59 kilos last year i looked veeery skinny almost skeletal complexion since my diet wasnt allowing me to gain fat. It was very low on sugar and high in protein. Fats dont really make you gain weight unless you are eating lots of carbs/sugar and sit all day on your ass. Although my weight, my arms and legs were fine, nothing too skinny but i did have muscle.
After that in the course of at least 8 months i putted on about 5 kilos more by eating very bad. I have lots of fats and carbs and sugar. My belly fat went up but my arms and legs only went a bit up.
I changed to a vegan diet not too long, lets say 4 months. I cutted first carbs and fats but i didnt watch the sugar, which was very high.
In these months i went down 8 kilos, im down to 52 now, which is my lowest i've been in my life but i didnt lose almost any fat, it probably was more muscle since i spent all day studying and eating low calories high on sugar.
That diet probably made me enter a state of saving fats with the sugar and losing muscle out of inactivity. I dont have a skeletal complexion but im very light and my belly still has fat on it. Im now cutting my sugar intake and focusing on vegan protein which is legumes and a lil oatmeal through the day with salads and other stuff.
Since im doing calisthenics too im hoping to see a decrees in fat and a gain in muscle, which should probably make me gain weight but the right one. I wouldnt mind gaining 8 kilos and reach the 60's if its muscle (heavier than fat) and my belly stays the same/gets lower on size.
I have a very fast metabolism though, and i struggle to gain weight. Its very easy for me to lose but that doesnt mean in any way i end up looking healthy/good because of it. I mostly just lose weight on my arms and legs with my belly staying the same. In order for me to gain weight and look good i have to eat healthy as hell for long periods of time and do lots of strength base exercise. If i drop it i lose all the good weight i put and fat starts to accumulate while getting close to 50 kilos. Its not fun at all.
EDIT: Although i must say im physically addicted to sugar which is veeery dangerous. The normal person just gets a sugar crave after lunch or a standard size meal because the digestion process asks for it, i noticed 2 out of 3 of my meals a day were sweet. For example, you can see a craving if you get the hard feeling of needing something sweet while you wouldnt really eat something with salt because you are full/dont feel like it.
As all physical addictions, you go through some addict phase or needing hard and wanting it like crazy once you try to leave it. If you do that things get easier but its hard as fucking balls.

I mean most people's goals really aren't the number on the scale, it's the body fat %. Someone who's like 200 lbs would probably sleep just fine if they woke up with the same weight but with a large % of it as muscle.

Yeah, it's very difficult for people to make the comprehensive long-term lifestyle changes necessary.
Obesity is quite sad as a public health problem, because when it comes to solving it all things indicate that it's incredibly unlikely for people individually to be able to actually lose weight, and keep it off. Even when people lose it, their bodies still tend to behave differently and antagonistically to their goals making regain incredibly likely.

What I'm trying to do is couch to 5k mixed with eating less. I can't have much impact on my diet beyond cutting out sodas. I have a budget of 1800 calories a day and I try to follow that but the scale isn't really going down. It's hard not for me to constantly check the scale so maybe I should just stop but it feels so frustrating because I don't know if I'm doing it right. Being at the start of weight loss and waiting to see if what you're doing works is by far the worst part.

I'm not sure what you mean. Most of the fat in my body is focused in my stomach, thighs, and butt though.

How long have you been doing it?
Don't focus too much on the short-term, you generally want to be weighing at the same time each day, and then using those numbers to observe weekly and monthly changes which are more what matter. It's not a fast process and for many people it can be irregular at times too.
If you are hitting those diet/exercise targets and not seeing long-term improvement you really should consider seeing a doctor.

Well, there's a lot to write about that than you'd probably want to read. In general, it's more like it's been stop and start for a couple years now. Do it for a few weeks, stop for a week, lose all my progress, if I made any, then pick it back up. It makes me question if there is progress. I've managed to go down to 208 pounds before but it's like once I hit 208 it all starts to creep back real fast.

As a concept, I like loot boxes and RNG loot and things of that nature. Opening a box to see my reward is something I find really exciting.
