No offense but seeing leopard print looks gaudy and always remind me of hookers thanks to the portrayal in movies.
Because different people enjoy different things? This isn't a difficult concept at all.
I don't like MOBAs but I understand why people do. I hate puzzle games but I get why others love them. I fucking despise tomatoes but it's easy to figure out why other people put them on their sandwiches. I refuse to so much as touch a fanfiction but I completely see why others read and write them.
I don't understand how someone could genuinely find this shit worth doing in their free time.
There's a difference between "it's a matter of taste" and "genuinely not sure what there actually is in this product to enjoy"

I don't like sports manager games either but I can see how somebody would enjoy playing a game with strong data-driven and user-interactive narrative.
It's like gamified Excel. Sounds like it could be fun to me.

It also has that fantasy sports aspect. Which is a HUGE """not-nerd""" hobby.
SMBC is consistently funnier than xkcd. xkcd has a bad habit of getting bogged down in basically nerd trivia and forgetting to actually make a joke, and sometimes the joke being made falls apart under scrutiny.
For example, this one about grammatical inflections has a conclusion that straight up doesn't make sense, even disregarding the "it's why we don't have all those Latin conjugations" (the reason we don't have those Latin conjugations is because English didn't derive from Latin), because to think that the rise of emojis in English communication is due to English lacking inflection is ridiculous. By this logic, Germans wouldn't use emojis because their language is significantly more inflected than English. Somehow, the much simpler explanation that simplified inflection can be accounted for with additional words or weren't semantically useful in the first place just didn't occur to Randall.
SMBC, on the other hand, is completely content to use the "nerd trivia" as more of a build-up to a conclusion that's actually pretty straight-forward and easy to understand, and even then, the author doesn't do it every time. Sometimes the comic is just a pun and that's completely fine.

It's just a resource management game. It's no different than the hundreds of tactical games that don't really let you do any of the fighting, because the fun is in setting up formations, grappling with risk and reward, investing effort or resources into reinforcing your strengths or fixing your weaknesses, etc etc.

Just join the Polidicks discord and search his post history.
I think i've said this before, but i'll say it again: Net Neutrality needs a TF2 promo because the average joe cares more about virtual cosmetics in a video game and that fact alone is why congressmen will get away with offing it.
There's this creepy cult around Rhodesia I've seen pop up recently, most notably from someone I had added on Steam.
All the stranger is that he was Welsh and wanted Welsh independence along with Rhodesia coming back. I think it was one of the countryball pages or other meme pages I have liked on Facebook that made a post about Rhodesia recently as well. it's weird and creepy because rhodesia was not nice country at all.
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite was a missed opportunity to have Dante vs Dante fights
I mean, it could totally work due to completely different fighting styles

Most of the Rhodesia stuff comes from the great military success of the Rhodesian forces during the Bush War, and the fact that they lost politically anyways. On top of that, Zimbabwe has just been an absolute trash-heap of a country after ZANU took over. It's a case of whether it would be better for a country to be run by a minority effectively, or be run by the majority terribly. With the hyperinflation, famines, and blatant racism that has occurred because of Zimbabwe's leadership it's not hard to see why people would favor Rhodesia. As bad of a rep Rhodesia gets because of their segregation overall it was pretty progressive for it's time and was on the way to transitioning power to the proper regional figureheads, and if it continued the course unimpeded by ZANU it may very well have been a regional superpower.
Also, short-shorts.

rhodesia was a state created to uphold racism, while zimbabwe certainly hasn't been perfect I'm trying hard to see what there is to actually glorify.
It should be exactly as acceptable to hit a girl as it is to hit a guy
A Mel Brooks movie could be made today, it's all dependent on if the guy feels like it.
Raycevick's content doesn't feel really fresh or good.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005)'s Steam store page could use with more sarcasm IMHO (i.e: making fun of the EA's usage of lootboxes and Heroes vs Villains reliance on said lootboxes)

that pretty much sums up the entire game

I look forward to the Fantastic Beasts movie with Johnny Depp.

I think I actually fell asleep watching the first
Its not racist to have preferences in dating people from certain races, it seems people go shout 'RACISTS!!' When someone mentions they don't have a preference for a particular race when it comes to dating
I'm not opposed to dating any race but people blow it up like its the worse thing

Depends on your motivation behind it tbh.
I remember in HS when that topic came up a lot of people said they wouldn't date black women and as to why it pretty much boiled down to stereotypes about them being ghetto af. I would certainly call that racist.
The habit of making some barely sarcastic lazy post and adding /s at the end is a habit I've only come to know in this forum and it's absolutely awful.
