I'm talking about the sort of coworkers I had when I was a cashier at Wal-mart where they quit and when they came in as customers you'd never have guessed they'd ever worked retail before. It was an infuriatingly common issue because far too many people are totally unaware assholes.

The 1911 is an ugly pistol and can in no way compare to the mighty Browning Hi-Power.

People should stop assuming countries that have are well known to be good are always going to be the best. For example, Japan and Germany, sure, they are efficient and very well established, but they have faults as well.

It's not an ugly gun, it's just a little goofy under certain lighting conditions.

I don't mind large viewmodels in games. It's a stylistic choice that is the same for everyone. I would rather replay old games in VR instead of newer ones. For some reason the thought of being able to replay childhood classics like KotOR, Fable, Morrowind, Psychonauts, Halo 1, Goldeneye, and so on in VR is way more appealing to me than the idea of playing a brand spanking new AAA game in VR. I like the idea of treading old ground, going back and looking at the game worlds from a whole new perspective, even if it's low poly and low texture resolution and generally looks like ass.

I don't believe we're on a good path, even despite my wish to be optimistic.

Quake and Half-Life looked alright when I played their GearVR/Google Cardboard versions. The only thing that really looked bad in Half-Life was the cliffside in Surface Tension where the canyon was just low-res flat skybox. Those were basically just glorified gyroscope stereoscopic camera tho, IDK how much standards change with something like a Vive where you have a lot more freedom.
