She’s not unattractive, but she’s so homogenously normal looking that she’s really nothing remarkable at all. “Inoffensive-looking” is not “objectively beautiful.”

There are plenty of girls who do the whole “blonde hair, blue eyes, heavily made up” thing who I think look better with that than she does, and look like they have nicer features without, so I just don’t understand the obsession with her in particular. If she was mentioned as much as other women I’d be like, “sure, I’m sure some guys are into her,” but the fact that it seems to be in vogue to hold her as the ultimate standard for female beauty confuses me.

That'll probably change after I try something like Gunman Chronicles that has higher quality models by default since I play base Half-Life in general with the original models.

I use the term magazine attractive when talking about that. Like Megan Fox is attractive, arguably, but in that generic model way that looks bland, like a clone of a million other models, and triggers this sense of artificiality in my brain. She doesn't look or feel like a 'real person' to look at. Like Johnnymo said, I see more attractive women than Megan Fox, Gal Gadot, Scarlett Johannson, whatever other celebrity people are drooling over at this moment, almost any day.
