I know the actual answer is "who the fuck cares it takes two seconds" but to me the most logical conclusion to the "leave the toilet seat up vs down" thing is absolutely down
The third option of "closing the toilet entirely so it doesn't fling shit particles all over my toothbrush" is objectively the best option.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood >>> Wolfenstein: The New Order
The Old Blood having more interesting weapon selection, encounters and the last quarter of the game being really intense and memorable (till the lame boss fight).
Serious Sam > Duke Nukem
Serious Sam > Duke Nukem
this is objective truth
I've never liked the Serious Sam system of "Lock you in a room until you finish a dozen waves of enemies" that became the standard for "Retro" shooters. Doom 2016 was full of that, especially around Kadingir Sanctum when pretty much every encounter has several Revenants, Mancubi, and Hell Knights at once with maybe a summoner or baron thrown in for good measure.

Probably too niche of a format to bother with. Digital downloads have been on the rise for years, and you can't reliably assume PC users are all going to have BluRay drives, meaning you'd have to sell a DVD/code-in-box version anyway unless you wanted to lose sales from people not going out to buy a BluRay player just for your game.
The original xbox controler was the second worst controller I've ever used but Its a little sad the black/white buttons didn't carry over to the much nicer 360.
I just would've liked more buttons.

not everyone has a bluray drive in their computers
I wanna know wtf you used that was worse than the og xbox controller
I imagine it had a MadCatz logo on it.

My unpopular(?) opinion:
Anyone whose arguments include the words "postmodernism", "cultural marxism", or "PC Culture" is immediately disregarded as a knob.

I mean, that's a great way to cut yourself off from learning new ideas

I mean I guess same can be said for anti-vaccers and flat earthers?
I mean I guess same can be said for anti-vaccers and flat earthers?
How?
How?
Because calling out PC Culture and Neomarxism is the same conspiracy theory level of nonsense?
cultural marxism is literally an anti Semitic propaganda tool cooked up by far right loons to explain how the jews are controlling the world and conspiring against white people in so impossibly huge super conspiracy.
The "far right loons" who originally did this were the actual, literal Nazis, by the way.
Because calling out PC Culture and Neomarxism is the same conspiracy theory level of nonsense?
Then find problems with the arguments, not the idea
Then find problems with the arguments, not the idea
Then why does this not apply to the previously mentioned conspiracy theories?
Then why does this not apply to the previously mentioned conspiracy theories?
It does apply

Not everyone is really worth the time engaging with, especially because those 3 words are buzzwords so he likely has engaged with their points already.
i think people overuse the term "pretentious"
I wanna know wtf you used that was worse than the og xbox controller
I loved the OG Xbox controller. It was awesome.
I find it more relaxing to have my headphones on full blast pumping out "Do I Wanna Know" at 175 MPH on a highway in The Crew's cockpit view than I do going on a long drive in stuff like Euro/American Truck Sim. There's just something incredibly peaceful about just gently wading back and forth between other cars along a massive 4-lane stretch of road while everything else around me is just a nice, irrelevant blur.
Really doubt this opinion is unpopular but this is the only opinion thread.

the left/right political spectrum we like to align people on so readily these days is utterly stupid, archaic and not at all representative of people's actual political or social views

Tends to be better in quality but their business practices are garbage. They try and bully devs into using them as the official wiki.
Hitting people with the "educate yourself!!!" about everything is dumb. Yeah, if someone is being a smartass when in reality they're 100% wrong, correct them. But making a genuine mistake shouldn't result in being told "Do more research, idiot". Hey, how about you correct someone nicely? I know I'm more likely to research something if I haven't been attacked for being wrong; areas like politics and LGBT issues tend to be minefields for this. Here's a suggestion: explain to the person and point out any mistakes that lots of people unintentionally make. That is a much better reaction than "Don't say such stupid things, educate yourself". Imagine if you went to buy a top and said "hey, this is ripped and its the only one", only to be met with "Jesus fucking christ, that's the design. Educate yourself, moron". Being patronising doesn't make you look intellectually superior, you're just being unnecessarily hostile.

I hate it, because when people ask me what party I'm with I never know what to say. Firstly, that's not something you go around asking people - to me it's like asking who you voted for or what salary you make. And secondly, I don't feel like any party 100% represents my views. When it comes to abortions i'm on the left side, when it comes to guns i'm on the right side, and some would say "oh you must be a libertarian" but like dude, I like roads and public schools. I really don't like how people get dragged into or bundled into a political party and then start adopting that parties views 100% as some "all or nothing" follower. People seem to forget that you can have views that differ from your main selected party...
