Fuck steve harvey.
I personally dislike how game journalists use top-of-the-line PC specs when doing graphical comparisons for multiplatform games. I dunno, it's just that since my knowing of the Potato Masher Youtube series, I've found it more interesting to see how a similarly priced computer can compare with a home console, which also provides an educational experience for those on a budget.
I genuinely feel sorry for people who cant enjoy onions and/or garlic. its such a staple. same with tomatoes. not raw tomatoes, but tomatoes in general imagine having pasta that has no onion, garlic or tomatoes in the sauce. do you just put parmesan cheese on plain pasta and call it a day? god that sounds like a nightmare
you should take a trip to italy
I hate FP's Gay Thread. It's a giant bubble of depression and personal issues of people I can't help in any way that gets under my skin through my own empathy and turns me into depressed mess of confused emotions and painful awareness of my own faults and inequalities. I don't hate anyone in there, just the general feeling that thread invokes in me.
I think college is pointless because I am poor so I adapted the "debt free, soon-to-be-living-out-of-my-car, permanently road tripping lifestyle" I think slaving away for a couple years to afford a car and a safety net of money to keep it insured while working jobs to maintain it/save for a place to pay for up front is the only way to financially survive in this economy debt free. Scorpions are cute.
Behaviour breeds behaviour. The gay chat is always self-loathing, the cdtg thread is only active when its dramatic. All it takes is a few figureheads to dictate it. Doesnt help the gay chat is called 'everything sucks' or 'the world sucks' or whatever. I poke my head in from time to time and ive never felt inclined to stay
I just try to stay away from others' personal issues because one of my huge weaknesses are tendency to escapism and being overly empathetic. Put me in Gay Thread and you can guess how that mopped the floor with me.
tomatoes are terrible raw cooked they're amazing (like sauteed chunks :ok:)
I like raw tomatoes with some sugar
I can't stand 90% of vegetable to be cooked, roasted or otherwise thermally altered. Of course except shit like onions, potatoes and so forth.
I'm very empathetic as well, the tough part is I was a sad teenager once and well, i remember that i couldnt really accept other people telling me things because i was in my own mind, so I realise just as much that you cant really help people who are sad/self loathing because its really up to themselves to eventually grow out of it. Theres absolutely no point going in there and trying to help people that cant be helped, and thats not throwing anyone under the bus, its an observation. When i was depressed and confused (yknow, like fucking most people) it was hard for me to comprehend peoples advice, and what people had to say never concerned the issues i was feeling, and i assume the same is the case for everyone. Nothing anyone ever said helped me, it wasnt until i was fully exhausted of depression i changed on my own accord, almost naturally. So when i just see self loathing and sadness i feel helpless, and its sad. I know what it feels like to be like that and I cant help these people even if i want to. And the last thing you can say is things wlil get better, and that theyre young and theres so much more to experience, because thats not very useful advice to someone who is pretty much trapped in their own mind. So what can you do? You have to avoid it. Otherwise you're only hindering yourself and making yourself sad. Life is too short to concern yourself with the negatives, you have to surround yourself with people and things that you can enjoy, while you can. After all, its your own life you live, choosing not to enjoy it only really effects you at the end of the day.
i don't necessarily agree or disagree and everyone is different but i didn't improve out of my depression until i basically alienated all my friends and got back on my feet by myself
I eat vegetables only if it is coupled with a good amount of meat. Wait fuck, have I been here for five years already?
As someone who loves meat, I think eating less meat with more vegetables is much better just in general. You get more for the same price out of vegetables as for meat.
i got nothing against them raw but i much prefer the texture of them cooked, by any method. like carrots for example, eat em raw sure but i really love when theyre steamed or even fried in butter. also i cant really eat broccoli/cauliflower raw, but when theyre steamed theyre far nicer, especially cauliflower, i love cauliflower
Well, yeah, some vegetable really doesn't work if it isn't thermally prepared, broccoli/cauliflower being very much in that group and I can deal with vegetable being thermally prepared if it's part of the dish but if I'm to choose between raw tomatoes/carrots/pepper/cucumber or thermally prepared, I'll always choose raw. Raw vegetable is a perfect casual munch food and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
I just like my vegetable to be crunchy and juicy, sue me :v:
I like my vegetables so fresh you can smell the cow dung on them
I like my vegetables so fresh you can smell the cow dung on them
Thought about living on a farm then?

[editline]18th June 2017[/editline]
I just like my vegetable to be crunchy and juicy, sue me :v:
I need my veggies to be uncooked, otherwise they're gross and slimy and disgusting. I could go for some plain, cool, crunchy lettuce right now.
onions are fucking rad
I don't mind onions, and in some things they are well-suited, but often I find some places i've been to eat at massively overuse them. Especially my mum, she makes pizzas that are more onion than damned sauce. Garlic is rad tho.
I think facepunchers, and people in general, need to learn about the principle of charity. The principle of charity is the idea that you should take and contend with the strongest possible interpretation of somebody's position. It will make you much stronger intellectually if you deal with a strong form of somebody's ideas instead of making yourself a strawman. And it'll also help your sanity because you'll realize that most people aren't as dumb as you might like to think they are.
I actually really like the way a pontiac aztec looks and I want one
I'm italian
not relevant unless you know italian culinary traditions to a science
My favorite pizza has peach on it and everyone online who I've told about it hates that. No-one I know in rl dislikes that pizza with peach, some even like it as much as I do.

Sometimes it's just a lost cause going into that thread bc I feel like if I post something that ignores the depressionposting I'll be ignoring their problems and all that bad stuff. Just usually not a super pleasant thread.
I think tomatoes were god's mistake. The only way I can really enjoy them is in fucking ketchup or something and that's because at that point it doesn't even taste like tomatoes they're just used as a base. I honestly haven't enjoyed any other form of tomato, even the smell can set me off sometimes. Also tomatoes can get fucked because one time in a chemistry lab I had to extract the lycopene from tomato paste and the whole thing was fucked and terrible so fuckem. [editline]19th June 2017[/editline] Also pasta can be fine without tomatoes, if it's like algio el olio or whatever the fuck then that shit's rad.
onions are a cooking marvel and you have The Bad Taste
It's not my fault I want to (and sometimes do) throw up when a feel a tiny piece sneak into my mouth [editline]19th June 2017[/editline] But garlic? Fuck yeah for garlic. And tomatoes, when utilised properly.
can I get an example?
The ones that spring to mind are pretty contemporary and might make people ANGERY so I'll link this. Otherwise you can probably look at any thread about the wall, immigration, etc. lmao. http://www.csus.edu/indiv/m/mayesgr/phl4/tutorial/phl4charity.htm

If you have a tomato and can slice it into thing slices, you don't need ketchup on a burger. Ketchup is nice as a dip or a drizzle, but not a end all be all of tomatoes.

If it did I would hate it.
ketchup is shit
