Personally I would say that 85%+ of the time it just means "I have some really fucking awful opinions and I'm a huge bigot. Deal with it."
What's the other 15%? I mean, it is pretty much going "I'm not racist, but nigarinos innit"
well, I think the people complaining the most about others often tend to be the ones causing the problems.
well, I think the people complaining the most about others often tend to be the ones causing the problems.
That's kind of like people who say they hate drama, more often than not, being the primary source of said drama.
I dunno if this is an unpopular opinion or not but I feel there is something very off-putting about acapella/musical culture (ye I know they are different but there is a lot of overlap) that I can't put my finger on.

Whether it's musicals, people singing to themselves, or Christmas carolers. Unless it's a person singing to music on a song track it's just... Off-putting.

Something about the forced joyfulness of it makes me deeply uncomfortable.
I quite enjoy musicals in person and when they're well executed, but I definitely am also put off by the culture around them. To be fair, though, all forms of fandom where people revolve their whole lives and identities around a certain piece/type of media are obnoxious and off-putting. I think it's just much more common with musicals.
I fucking hate musicals. Its weird to me cause i forget about all those old animated films having them cause i feel like theyre renowned for their impaxt and legacy of being very lovely animated and well done. but then you watch one of them and every 5 minutes they break into song and it just makes me wanna skip through the next 3 minutes of the movie every time
My biggest problem with them is that they really fuck up the flow. Serious talking, something like "But I don't know, how are we going to solve this problem?" BAM. Sudden fucking song about positivity in the face of adversity or some shit for three minutes. I guess I'm just not cut out for musical films. It's also why I can't stand Bollywood films compared to my home state's films (well known for serious dramas).

I think advocating for cruel and unusual punishment for the worst criminals makes you an asshole. It annoys me when I see so many people talking about serial killers/child molesters/etc. being burned to death as if it's a great thing(Phillip Defranco does this constantly. I follow him and like his content, but I disagree strongly with him on this issue). What good does it do? It does nothing to isolate them from society that imprisonment or death penalty wouldn't do. It obviously does nothing to rehabilitate them. I keep hearing it would "deter" others from following in their footsteps but all the research I've looked at has shown that deterrent effect simply does not work that way. So why should we do it? Because it feels good? Should we just put people through torment for our own pleasure? Who else does that?
The best level in Goldeneye was Surface 1 because reasons.
I don't know why people think singing out of nowhere randomly is fun, because 99% of the time everyone is awkward and no one wants the person to do it.
I think there are cues during a conversation where you can go into a song, and I have no reservations about singing in front of my brother when we're walking together when i'm bored because he hates it, but there's a line. I knew one kid who thought he had a nice voice, and would sing often, and we all knew him as a wanker. On the matter of cues, I know another guy on the spectrum that does not know when to stop. We'll do a line, he'll do four, and we'll find ourselves staring at him as he continues well beyond the point where we have stopped. There's nuance to this rare tomfoolery and if you don't get it then don't do it. It feels incredibly dumb to explain how something like this can work. But I don't think people give a shit if you find it "awkward". I imagine most people think there's a little fun in wondering if you're going to make it more awkward by having the balls to ask them to quiet down.
That thread about cuckolding is surprising, I always thought this forum was full of weirdos.
That thread about cuckolding is surprising, I always thought this forum was full of weirdos.
The only weirdos in that thread are the ones who can't get over what other people do privately in their bedrooms. EDIT: I guess this and this prove my point. Can't argue that cucks are weirdos when that's the way people who are against it act.
Cuckolding is sure as shit not something I'm interested in, but frankly I believe a couple should do whatever makes them happy in the bedroom so long as it's healthy and legal. Who gives a fuck if it's not "masculine". If that's what they're into, let em do it.
It is, just really self concious ones
Yeah, like, I've got my list of sexual activities I think are fun, I just have no intention of telling anyone other than my girlfriend, ISP, and the NSA about them.
You don't need to have the fetish to realize that it's between consenting adults and has no bearing on you at all. There's seriously nothing wrong with it. It's certainly not my thing, but damn, people are judgemental.
this is pretty unpopular, but kinkshaming/fetishshaming in general is bad. And I don't mean people going 'eww thats gross' but people who legit go after other people for being into rape and other 'hard' fetishes like that. I feel like some people still can't distinguish fiction/imagination from reality.

There's a difference between someone who rapes and someone who has a rape fantasy. A rape fantasy isn't the best of fantasies, but if someone knows its a fantasy and reality, and knows when it's appropriate, it's not inherently a bad fetish.

We had a thread a few days back where we discussed the fact that people may sometimes feel pressured into sex and consent, can't argue that this is a good situation. Can't someone feel pressured into accepting to be cucked? Wouldn't that be a problem?

Who else does that?
It appeals to the parts of our brains hardwired for revenge. They just say those reasons because society demands they justify it somehow and that's what comes to mind as something that'll get society off their case. I, honestly, couldn't care less what happens to them as long as they're not a threat anymore. If that means a lifetime in a fucking 5 star hotel room, so be it. If that means a firing squad, sure. My concern stops as soon as their threat to society ends. I'm not going to go around calling for them to be drawn and quartered, but I'm also not going to shed a tear for them if they do end up getting something cruel and unusual done to them. Then again, I've always found it nearly impossible to empathize with people I don't care about. The best I can ever do is an empty pleasantry that holds no meaning, ya know, parroting the usual 'rip' or whatever. But deep down I generally don't give a shit.
There are fetishes that are virtually impossible to achieve outside of the imagination anyways. A lot of fun in those is the fact youll never do them in real life so you have your imagination time where you can feel 'naughty' for enjoying the forbidden fruit per se i bet im in the top 5% of degeneracy here when it comes to fetishes. thats a pretty fuckin bold statement considering this is fp but i talk to people and like im so fucked up now than bondage is like vanilla for me and literally no kink/fetish play in sex may as well just be frozen milk without any flavouring whatsoever. casual sex hasnt done anything for me, ever
Mmhm. 'Tis why RP is so much fun, you can run through stuff that just isn't practical...or even possible at all...in reality.

Alien to me nor something I'm interested in, but hey, if that's something you're into, you do you, I just don't want any of the details because it's TMI and that stuff's best kept to people who can empathize and relate better than I can. I....have been propositioned for stuff like this in the past by some of my friends in uni who were into this kind of stuff (Girlfriends expressed an interest in, um, interracial stuff but with people they considered safe, I guess? I mean, I don't even want to know what kind of discussion they had prior to approaching me :v:) . I turned them down, for obvious reasons, but hey, you know what, I'm definitely glad that they trusted me enough to know that I wouldn't think less of them for asking, so that's the way I look at it. Still friends with all of them, so... yeah. I mean, for all the people that love to bring out "Well, if you don't like or want to hear about something, you can just, you know, stop listening/watching?" a helluva lot of people don't practise what they preach when it comes to their line in the sand, which is hilarious to me and only goes to prove how talk of one's tolerance is cheap in the face of actual situations where you get to prove how tolerant you are.

Kudos to that guy though, he did seem to take into account all arguments.
I feel like Xcom 2 could have another expansion pack themed around the real life superhero concept. Iunno, i just can't help but think it'd be cool to see ordinary people dressed up in an outlandish costume while using improvised weapons against the main bad guys in a dystopian science fiction.
No fetishes are bad as long as everyone consents. Unless I'm forgetting something.
Well there are fetishes that can be hazardous I guess
Pre-rendered CGI trailers mean nothing to me and I glean no excitement from them at all

I disagree with this threads thoughts on cuckoldry, I have a hard time believing someone of a sound mind would willingly subject themselves to that, and I also can't see how a healthy relationship & mutual respect can occur when that is taking place. You can say "Well they're 2 consenting adults" but it seems very destructive
