Zonk3d, in Ultimate Venom is indeed a failed cure for cancer, based off the DNA of Peter's father, it wants to absorb Peter to complete his fathers DNA. If they want to make it grim they should do that Kraven Arc from Amazing Spiderman, Kraven's Last Hunt. Depressing and grim as fuck.
I don't see them redoing Venom so soon, is the only reason I don't find it believable.
From that picture I can tell that a scene of Spider-Man running is confirmed!
Video of Spider-Man in action! http://www.tmz.com/videos?autoplay=true&mediaKey=2094fb71-f89b-41af-88fb-4f35a54cc47f

No Jameson? :frown: Also, that video looked slightly underwhelming
No JJJ = the utimate proof this movie will be shitty [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] Spiderman is nothing without Jameson and the Daily Bugle
No JJJ = the utimate proof this movie will be shitty [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] Spiderman is nothing without Jameson and the Daily Bugle
The problem is they're altering all the actors, I don't think anyone could play Jameson like J.K. Simmons
He wouldn't fit in this new spiderman world if it's gonna be much darker.
No J. Jonah Jameson? Noooooooo!

I don't think Jameson is even present in the ultimate universe, is he ?
Don't really care for the character to be honest. We already have the Illusive Man playing Ben. Yes, Martin Sheen.
I don't know what to think. I thought the original Spider Man movies weren't too bad. But yet again, I was 13.
I don't know what to think. I thought the original Spider Man movies weren't too bad. But yet again, I was 13.
I really liked the first two. But I was embarrassed by watching the third one with my mother.
I really liked the first two. But I was embarrassed by watching the third one with my mother.
Same here. I enjoyed the first 2 games as well. But the 3rd one was complete shit.
The costume isn't that bad, the only part I'm not sure about is the removed belt area. Also the actor does look a bit slim, I always thought they nailed it with the original movies. He wasn't super buff, but you knew he could stand a beating.
Same here. I enjoyed the first 2 games as well. But the 3rd one was complete shit.
I played the third game on the Wii. :smithicide:
I played the third game on the Wii. :smithicide:
The game was better than the movie.
So I guess in the remake, maybe Venom appears, Spidey fights him, but Carnage appears in the fray, and makes a truce, in desperation. Said so in the comics.
:pcgaming::pcgaming::pcgaming::pcgaming::pcgaming::pcgaming: If that's true... :pcgaming:
It's sad, really. Raimi's Spiderman was the only consistent thing produced under the Marvel name I can even remember. I guess X-Men can hang under that label as well, actually. But the point is they just have to go and bring the comic multiverse clusterfuck to the big screen as well. We don't need that.
The Lizard will make its first on-screen appearance actually.
That hasn't actually been confirmed. Just heavily rumored. I would enjoy it greatly though.
If Tobey Mcguire isn't in it, it won't be good. It's just too soon for a new Spiderman.
If Tobey Mcguire isn't in it, it won't be good. It's just too soon for a new Spiderman.
McGuire wasn't really that great in the movies. In most of the scenes his acting was completely over-the-top. Plus, look at Incredible Hulk. It wasn't released much time after the first Hulk movie and it was way, WAY better.
I don't think Jameson is even present in the ultimate universe, is he ?
He is, but I think he either came much later or was featured less.
I don't remember what happened so it couldn't have been that good.
Bad memory = bad movie :raise:
McGuire wasn't really that great in the movies. And The Incredible Hulk I believe was a sequel, since it did follow up from things in the first film. But those things are also present in the comics so I don't know.
