I've donated blood 3 times. The second time, I passed out afterwards, but the other times were fine. I usually do it to get out of classes, because they come to the highschool and it's a nice hour-long process to donate.
I donated my blood for the first time recently and I plan to do it as much as I can.
I have O negative, so I'm a universal donor.

This is what happened my first time. I got all excited because I got to get out of class.
Then it took place during my 7th lunch and my free 8th. I almost missed the bus.
Im not allowed to yet.
I'm a real Organ donor (just got my card) which means if someone finds me and decides to root through my wallet and finds the card, they have the right to strip my corpse of: "All Organs and Tissues". Kinda odd, but it's for a good cause.
If I were to die in an accident somehow, I doubt I would have much good blood left to donate.
I wanted to, but I can't because "men who have sex with men" aren't allowed to.
I gave blood in my final year of school and fainted shortly afterwards.
nope, "plus they store this stuff, in some warehouse somewhere."
Ive been living in England for 2 and a half years. can i give blood when I go back to the states at the end of next year?
I did last year and I'm doing it again next week.
Gay people can't donate blood even if they have a perfectly functioning body without any STDs or diseases.

hahahahah
who knows what causes gayness. maybe its a fruity little white blood cell. better safe than sorry i guess...
I used to think to donate bone marrow they'd take a spoon and scrape it out of my arm, but then I realized it was only a needle.
And I have a phobia of needles, so I told the doctor to fuck off, and I left.

You'd rather he smash/slice open your bone and agonizingly scrape the marrow out with a spoon than a quick, clean, albeit-painful procedure with a needle?
With donating blood you don't save a life. Be an organ donor, give away one of your kidneys then you've saved a life. I'm personally donating all my useful organs and tissues when I die.
You guys do know that gays are technically allowed; it asks if you had sex with a man, not if you are gay. You don't have to be gay to have sex with a man, young adults often expierment, there is drunk sex, there is bisexuals and I could go on and on.
You can be gay and not have sex. The question is asked because Homosexuals Which do have Man to Man sex are the most AIDS risk group. So think about it a bit; it sounds a bit weird at first but it makes sense.
Basically, It's not discriminating on Gays; it's simply asking if you had sex with another male because the Gay demographic is the most AIDS risk.

Because people never get into horrible accidents and need new blood, absolutely not :downs:
Donated blood once in highschool, it was fun-ish. Got me out of class at least.
I've got O- Blood. If you don't know what that means, look it up.
Tried giving blood once, but when they were testing a sample, they muttered something about poison and told me to leave.
I hope someone died because my blood wasn't available.
I donated a few months ago, wasn't that bad.
I should donate blood since it's full of thc.
Planning to do a number of things when I turn 18, one of them is donating blood and registering as an organ donor.
Well I'm 14, so no I have not donated blood. I have had blood taken from me though. Didn't really hurt but they took a lot of it.
Wow, that's still in effect? I was under the impression that AIDS wasn't quite so common these days.
It's actually more common than they say it is. AIDS is a serious problem that they understate because if the general public was aware of just how common it is (and how easy it is to spread it) they would freak the fuck out.
Anyway, back on topic... I donated blood. Was pretty easy and almost completely painless. I felt fine for a few minutes after, but then my hearing started to go bad and I told one of the volunteers "My hearing is going... probably gonna pass out in 30 seconds" and she damn near slammed me onto one of their reclining chairs and tilted the sucker back. I thought "alright, I feel much bett-" and got cut off by a freezing cold cloth hitting my face. Holy shit, if that doesn't wake you up, you're dead. Anyway, she passed me a sprite and some food and I went at that for a bit, told her I should be fine, and I was off. I was a little dizzy for most of the day, but the feeling passed by the next day.
In fact, I felt better the next day than I had before I gave blood. It felt... clean. Like that you-just-left-the-shower clean, but on the inside (lol). The feeling lasted for a few weeks at least. I was able to go to the gym by the second day, and I was performing at my normal level. Within a week, I felt even better than before and was performing better too. I really feel like it refreshed me. Which I guess is true, considering the body must produce brand new plasma and cells to replace all that shit you gave away. Was a pretty good experience all around, except for that freezing cloth. That shit was annoying, but whatever.
tl;dr Giving blood feels good man.
I gave blood twice before.
I tried to donate back in College (UK College) when I was about 17 as they come for a couple of days a year.
The first day I was still ill and the second day was cancelled so they didn't come.
I don't think I am an acceptable candidate at the moment now as I take Microgynon 30 (birth control pill) so I probably can't donate now.
Done it alot of times, but not in like two years.
O- BIATCHES
I'm scared of needles and shit, So no i have not and i dont plan too.
im not 18 so no
but when i turn 18 in august i will be
I've donated plasma plenty of times before.
Do they care about your size? At my high school this year, they said the only requirement was age. I'm a pretty small guy, so I'm not sure.
I don't even know my blood group... :(
