• Donating Blood, have you?

I don't have blood, I have AIDS. It runs through my body.
Of course I donate. I do it several times a year. Ever since I first could (must be at least sixteen and reach your gender's height and weight minimums in the US). It's a great feeling. That blood will save someone's life. Also, since my school is so large it's a two hour wait for whole blood donations. They come all day, too. It's essentially a "get out of class free" card.
No :colbert:
When i do blood test's etc i think it's hilarious and try not too laught when they do it.
I've donated 9 times, it doesn't hurt unless you're a bitch and it's a good thing to do.
Nope. I might when I get older since I'm O+.
I'm a total asshole, my blood type is O- and I've never donated blood.
I've got O- Blood. If you don't know what that means, look it up. Tried giving blood once, but when they were testing a sample, they muttered something about poison and told me to leave. I hope someone died because my blood wasn't available.

You can get paid for donating Plasma and rare blood types. :20bux:
You can also get paid for donating sperm. :gizz:
Supposably I can't donate because I was in Germany during a mad cow disease outbreak. I donate anyway...free cookies. Almost every soldier gets voluntold to donate blood. O+
You can also get paid for donating sperm. :gizz:
Holy shit, I could get paid to fap?
Holy shit, I could get paid to fap?
Yup and some lesbian couple will have a kid that looks like you. So you can have a bastard son without any cost, look at porn, fap and get paid to do it. Win Win situation
I'll go get checked if I can donate when I'm over 18. If I can find somewhere to donate, that is.
I thought Red Cross let you donate if your 16+ and have your parent/gaurdian with you.
I get mailed all the time by Red Cross because I'm O+. As for actually donating, I've only done it once.
I'm going to start donating probably somewhere in the summer, since i'm most likely a 0 blood type, though i'm not sure. I'm not sure what kind of tests i need to do, though. I know i gotta figure out my blood type, but beyond that, i just don't know. Guess i'll have to ask the doc.
I tried to donate my eggs once because you get paid thousands of dollars for it, but they said my genetic makeup was unsatisfactory. :(

They'll figure out your blood type, hemoglobin and other stuff for you.
I have really low blood pressure. The last time I tried to donate they almost killed me because they took too much out. It sucks because I'm O- (universal donor), but I don't think I'll try to donate again after that.
Scared of needles, otherwise I would.
Plan on doing it, you can get 100 € here!
I am scared of blood and I get woozy if I see it. [editline]08:27PM[/editline] I hate needles too
I donate every time I am allowed (meaning after the required downtime in between donations). I've done whole blood donation and apheresis (the one where blood is taken from you and only one component is taken while the others are put back in). If you've got the time, apheresis isn't bad at all and they prefer you do it because when you donate blood they separate it into the components anyway (they don't leave it whole). When you do apheresis you can donate more of that one component than you could normally and it affects your body less, as you are given back the other components. You can also donate more often. If you don't give a shit either way just donate... It isn't painful or anything, as long as you drink a little more water you aren't affected, the nurses treat you like you've performed a holy task (if you like ego boosts), you get juice and cookies, and you can save a few lives (if that's important to you). Cheers.
I've donated since I turned 17, but last time I donated which was on April 1st, I probably had about 3 minutes left, then someone pulled the fucking fire alarm. They had to take everyone off their IV's to go outside, but they couldn't go back on. Some other people were only on for about 2 minutes when they were taken off. Of course, they wasn't a fucking fire, or a fire hazard.
I'm the only one in my family who can donate(they were in germany when mad cow disease was a major threat) and i intend to donate my blood sometime when i get the chance.
When I'm at my doctor to let my blood values check, they always take so much blood from me that a hole bunch of people could survive a huge accident with thousands of cut wounds on my blood.
Tried, but I have low blood pressure :(
I'm not allowed to because I've been out of the country too many times. I would if I could though :(
My blood is my blood no-one elses!
Apparently being a Brit in the US forbids you from blood donations. Something about Mad Cow disease that still has them spooked.
