Accurate pistol to headshot the attacker and make bandages using the knife for the person being beaten. He may be able to tell you what's going on.

Kill them both with the normal pistol, don't waste accurate shots.

Tie one end of the rope around your waist and the other around the loop in the hook. Throw the hook up through the hole and ask for assistance getting up.
