Well im expressing my thoughts. Im trying to connect. We can connect by different means. Clearly im not doing this so well. So i'm learning from your thoughts. Thanks for making myself better. Thanks for fulfilling part of my unlimited needs.
afterall, this is the general discussion board right. We converse online. For a reason.
He just wants you to tell us what the conclusion you're trying to push forward is. If you're not actually trying to make any points this is a useless piece of writing.
[editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
Where did this silly notion of 'unlimited needs' even come from? I don't even know what that means.
If you say fulfill one more time.:psyboom:
So I suppose individually you have some valid points, but none of it is really breakthrough material.
If I were to pretend that reading through any of your posts is not like sifting through layers upon layers of a horrible word-slurry to try and get to that juicy pearl of wisdom which may or (more likely) may not be lying at the bottom of the pit.....then I would ask you a question. That question would be:
Could you please explain to me in a single sentence exactly what your point is?
I see, understanding how we think helps us think better, at least for me. i'm not sure if you guys like what i'm communicating, its instinct to better ourselves.
Wow thats confusing, but it can be true, and help you take control of your thoughts.
Really the bottom line, see why life sucks, and why life doesn't suck. Everything happens because it just happens. So this is how we deal with life.
Im sorry it's annoying to talk about. But hopefully you guys can use my knowledge to understand a situation you come across, and help better yourself.

Hey guys, I'm a high school graduate lacking a degree in psychology or an understanding in philosophy but I'm an expert in the human psyche! LISTEN TO MEEEEEE

I suppose this is fair enough, it's just a shame that this...communication is so difficult for you.
Is English a second language to you?
I think at least one of the major points you're trying to get across is that communication is vital to human nature and growth, by extension so is society and a higher level of social interaction in general.
Edit: Thought you were replying to me in another post, here's the later one:

Life sucks, and life doesn't suck? I don't think it's a lack of communication which prevents me from understanding what you're trying to say here. You're just making seemingly random statements D: I do want to understand, just...
You're saying that most/all problems with humanity are caused by failure to communicate or opposing viewpoints, or a combination thereof? That's fine, but I don't think you can get a degree by pointing that out.
Stop saying shit about fulfillment, you've used in almost every post this thread and its making me go fucking crazy :psyboom:
Well, part of the problem is that you guys are asking questions, that in a nutshell, I've already explained. But your thoughts needed additional explanations. We needed to communicate more. If I didn't respond to any of these posts. I wouldn't be able to prove my point.
You can change society the way you see fit, as long as you find way to work with everyone.
Nobody will use this 'knowledge' because there's nothing worth calling knowledge here :raise:

Knowledge is only worth what you think its worth. Everyone thinks this right? Because our thoughts and opinions have been influenced by our experiences.
We don't experience the same things in life.
Knowing this, move on with life and satisfy your own needs. Work with others. This is how we grow.
Life either sucks or its awesome, it depends if you take things as they come or if your a cup half full or half empty type of person.
Besides things don't just happen, planes can crash but it didn't just happen out of no where- it can happen because the materials failed over its life time due to how it was formed, maybe an additional element exposed itself to the metal - at the end of the day everyones different and how can I better myself of one mans opinion - you better yourself off many opinions and experiences not one mans point of view.
Knowledge is only worth what you think its worth. Everyone thinks this right? Because our thoughts and opinions have been influenced by our experiences.
That's not what knowledge is. Knowledge is necessarily something that is true and I don't really see anything that's necessarily true in here. Not even you seem to have any sort of idea what claim you're trying to prove in this.
Right, but i'm here to help. Understand this, and answer your own questions, maybe you can help better a situation with this knowledge i'm trying to share.
Mejt, I can't answer my own questions when they're questions like "Is English a second language to you?" I'm glad you're here to help, for what it's worth, but I don't think you personally or we collectively can solve all of society's problems with this thread. This is just more communication which may not be what we need.
Might need more killing.

Some people even disagree on the definition of knowledge. Some people claim to "know" unknowable or unprovable things. This is what makes it difficult to learn from each other, because everybody has their own ingrained beliefs and values, shaped by their own lives, which they cling onto too hard.

You are right, things happen by cause. Plains are manmade, composed of materials we find. Thats how it is.
Everyone is different, everyone has their own opinions, So we work around this. We work together to fulfill everyones needs, if we could connect perfectly. But we don't.
if we knew everyone like ourselves, the world would be run by the way we view it. That's perfect society. Society isn't perfect. Knowing this, we can move on.

English is my 1st language, I learned english from society, by connecting with it.
I'm not saying, we can fix society, i'm just reminding everyone what we all know, because when we get overly upset about the flaws in life, we can be accepting to them, because that's how life is. Understand that even though we have unlimited needs, they cannot be fulfilled. Because we don't connect perfectly, like we connect to ourselves.
You don't have to make yourself sound so pretentious when you're answering a simple question like what your first language is. It makes "connecting" with you very difficult because it doesn't feel like you're even listening to very simple dialogue.

Number one need is money, people work for themselves, no one wants to work for example as toilet cleaner to fulfill other peoples needs, would you?
You work for yourself because our nature is survival of the fittest, life is dog eat dog, if you want something you have to work harder than the rest and you do it by anyway you see necessary - criminals for example work for their needs but not others and they are not part of society.
Gah... :psyboom:

We can be lied to, and believe them. Not everyone is truthful. Truth is standards. Standards set by others then ourselves
You're also right. But in a way saying something I haven't said yet. You shouldn't be influenced by what others say. Influenced to the point where it disagrees with your needs. Our needs are still not met. This is societys flaw.
It's how we think right?
Money is only instrumentally valuable, unless you're a miser (and tbh I'm suspicious that misers even exist).
The point is.
You guys get upset about something? Don't need to. Understand our needs cannot be met. We have unlimited desires. We create our own problem. It's funny really.
This is how I stopped shying away from public. getting over feeling insecure, or dealing with other troubles. It's how I delt with my problems, by thinking about how we think. Alright then, time to move on. Because somehow, we are really all the same.
[editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
Money is manmade, its flaw. It all comes back to lack of proper connection. Understand we don't know everyone. Money is used to get things. To fulfill our unlimited needs.
i'm repeating myself, constantly.

I dont know. Unless we make it happen. But it could conflict with someone elses interests. and if you were to have perfect communication, this question would have the perfect answer. But we dont. so that's fine.

So you realised that essentially no matter how much we eat, we will always want more? No matter how much we love, we will not want it to end? "Unlimited desires" means that we can never be truly satisfied, and that is what it means to be human? Again, this is not groundbreaking stuff.
You're not literally repeating yourself, because every time you say the same thing in a different way. People are confused because you write like two lines with about eight seperate sentences, and it's hard to follow. If you actually speak like this then frankly I'm amazed you ever get anything across.
I'd go so far as to say you might need some ritalin to tie your thoughts down and stop spiralling off into explaining every self-evident statement you make in needlessly flamboyant terms. Example:
English is my 1st language, I learned english from society, by connecting with it.
I didn't need to read anything past the first five words there, but you put it in anyway and that is confusing, needless...well I hesitate to call it clarification.
There, how's that for "learning to improve yourself by communicating with others"?
Edit:
I dont know. Unless we make it happen. But it could conflict with someone elses interests. and if you were to have perfect communication, this question would have the perfect answer. But we dont. so that's fine.
Here by "perfect communication", do you mean omniscience? That's silly. Philosophy isn't about flights of fancy for how society could be theoretically perfect if we were all the same. It's about studying the way things are, and finding meaningful thoughts and solutions within the system we have. I just think you've responded to a question by Sgt Doom which was clearly satirical, and put way, way too much thought into your response. Stop trying to read so much into things. I think you may have spent too long "isolated from society"; you've started seeing connections and patterns and hidden meanings where there are none.
Go talk to JC Denton about ApostleCorp.
Needs can be met. Like hunger, needs come and go, But everything cant.
im giving alot of different views, but all explaining the same thing. I can't meet your needs. I already said why.
Im not trying to force you my thoughts. instead, showing you, how I think. You think differently. I understand, we think differently. Based on experiences. I've already answered your question, my first post. It's impossible to fully explain. I can only give you a basic idea. and if you like it, use it for your benefit.
I came from having a life, ruled by others, but now, after thinking, benefiting. I hope I helped someone out there, we all need help sometimes. We all have disagreements. It doesn't need to bother us. You don't need to say i'm insane, or need to rebuddle with, Go talk to JC Denton about ApostleCorp. I do what I want. You do what you want. But society doesn't work to our every needs. No need to take offence. Only listen, and correct. And these posts have corrected myself, in some way.

There are some generally accepted limits for how much thought about this stuff is healthy, though...I'll say no more on it, I'm just trying to say perhaps you should ramp down a little bit. People may find you abrasive even in general conversation because you try to analyse everything they say.

Something that is true actually is. It doesn't get any more simple than that. Statements that assert a verifiable state of the world have a truth-value (i.e. either true of false). You're not really making any truth-apt statements as far as I can tell, so you're not imparting any great knowledge to us because you're not saying anything that is true.
