Yes, you're still in debt.
So is everyone else who went to Uni.
Sell it to a celebrity.
So many people underestimate how difficult it is to raise a child. Sadly I don't think he understands.
I found out today and I'm fucking terrified!
Both of us still live with our parents and I'm in massive debts thanks to my Uni days. I don't know what to even think, my brain is all over the place. I don't even really know why I'm making a thread, I suppose I'm looking for someone who's been in the same situation to tell me it'll all be ok. Somebody? Anybody?...
:edit:
I'm 24 and we aren't getting rid of it. I'm just bloody clueless on what I'm supposed to do/feel
How old is your girlfriend? How long have you guys been together?
Seeing as you say you guys want to keep it then I wish you luck, it can work out alright. My mum was only 21 and was still living with her parents when she had me. If your families will support you then it'll be alright, but don't forget the kid is yours and not your/her parents' responsibility.
Also are you guys working? You guys could consider moving together if you've been with her long enough as it'd make spliting the responsibilities over the kid easier.
Kids are tough as fuck to raise, I don't have any but just by living with brothers who are twelve and eighteen years younger than me is stressy enough. It won't be easy, you'll have barely any sleep, you'll have nappies, screaming, mess, a lot of money being spent, and a decline in your social life. You and your girl will argue and fight a lot over it too. You just need to be prepared for it, and be sure you guys are ready for this change.
Have fun being miserable.
Kind of glad i'm sterile, I can go raw without any worries of pregnancy :c00l:
congrats. won't be easy, but someday when you're old and fragile he/she will return the favor

You're not a (wo)man anymore.
you're 24 and still live with your parents lol really
He was at UNI and had no money.
Congratz on the baby, hope all turns out well for you.
She obviously didn't take the pill right, you WON'T get pregnant if you take the pill on a schedule that you're suppose to.
Abort it.
Condoms make it feel shit
Awwww, well lets just call the Waaaaaaahmbulence, shall we?
Serves you right.
So many people underestimate how difficult it is to raise a child. Sadly I don't think he understands.
So you'd like me to force an abortion on her? I will invest every last penny and every last second to make sure my kid has a good life, we are not a couple of tramps that won't be able to manage, it's just a concern.

Enjoy being an idiot.
So you'd rather have a kid then.
:wtc:
Just abort it now before it's too late. It's going to be as retarded as you.
Read OP

Yeah, abort the kid, while it's not a fetus yet.
Adoption is always a good choice.
Why?
I would rather have the kid aborted. Going through life without parents is horrible. And not only that, but there are a shit ton of kids in America alone that are orphans that are not adopted.
Congratulations!

Dude, you couldn't even bring yourself to wear a fucking condom because it wouldn't feel as good having sex.
Are you seriously trying to convince us you have the willpower to raise a child in your position?
Have fun being miserable by the time you reach your 30s because you've had to abandon your hopes and dreams, though you could just give it up for adoption.
Actually, adoption doesn't sound too bad. There are always couples who REALLY want a child, but can't make one themselves.
Some antibiotica nullify the effect of the pill.

Yeah, there goes your career.

How many types of protection do you recommend using at once then?
Yeah, there goes your career.
My career is fine
She was on the pill but for whatever reason it didn't work.
I am in debt because I went to Uni.
So you're in debt and you are having a kid with a chick that is a liar

Condoms, the pill, spermicide, sulfuric acid, gamma radiation, and an abortion team standing by 24/7
Guys, he said they're keeping it in the OP.
People in worse situations have managed to raise a kid so give the guy a chance, as long as he and his girlfriend both know what they're in for and take responsibility so that the kid is raised properly and provided for then it's fine.
Also I have been on the pill for fucking (:smug:) ages and I have never had so much as a pregnancy scare, neither has my best friend and she's been on it for about ofur years.

Cheers!
We love each other and we're going to make it work. We will both have to make lifestyle changes but it's one of those things.

Even though it was a stupid thing to do, I wish you the best of luck.
