Holy shit what kind of parents let their kids watch this movie.
Although I did like the film quite a bit. Rather brutal for a movie rated PG
So wait, is Blackberry gay in the original one?
EDIT: Nevermind, just got my hopes up when I misinterpreted why had they changed his sex in the TV show
I watched the show a bit when I was younger, didn't like it much because I only saw a few scattered episodes and couldn't follow it. Then read the book a couple years back and really digged it. I should really getting around to re reading or watching the movie sometime
also, there's a band, Fall of Efrafa, that wrote a trilogy of albums based around Watership Down that I thought was noteworthy

i was supposed to read this in 9th but i completely ignored it and read jurassic park instead
passed all the tests anyway because they were so simple
I absolutely love the books and the movie. Actually the book is probably my favorite. Tales from Watership Down is really good too.
I need to make a note to buy another copy whenever I next go to the far away, gigantic bookstore, so that I can take a copy around without worrying that my original will get destroyed by the weather.
I loved this movie, it's especially fun to watch if you have no idea what it's about at all before you watch it the first time like I did when I was a kid.
Oh it's a movie about cartoon bunnies. I'll watch it - 5 year old me

I misunderstood your post's meaning. I apologize.
I remember this. That grim reaper was SHIT SCARY. I wanna watch it again. Haven't read the book, though.
The film is the shizzle.
I tried watching the film on an ancient VHS that's never been watched, ever yesterday. My old VHS player and new TV were too finnicky for the ol' girl... :frown:
I remember watching the film once as a kid. Certain bits scared the fuck out of me, especially the Black Rabbit of Inlé.
I think I saw this movie when I was really young, so I don't remember a whole lot of it, but I immediately remembered the black rabbit and even today he scares me.
God the film was fucking messed up.
Interesting.
For the sake of preoccupying myself, I fixed a crack in an ancient VHS I had of the television series as a kid.
Why was everyone so scared of the black rabbit? It's just a little shadow that frolics around a few times.
I was a lot more disturbed by the rabbits clawing the fuck out of each other's faces, getting ripped to shreds by a dog, and that whole description of how the burrows got filled in and dead bodies piled up in the tunnels.
I just watched the movie again and I completely forgot about some of those parts. Crazy stuff.

I like the Black Rabbit. Normally people picture death as this malign entity that causes despair. This rabbit, however, was more like "Your work is done. Rest now. Frolic with me." It's an a lot more interesting take on a personified death and a more heartwarming one. It doesn't make you sad.

Yeah that's what I remember most about the film.
Oh this looks like a good kids movie with cute bunni-OH MY FUCKING GOD
I remember watching an animated film as a kid about a group of animals (not just rabbits) travelling together to a nature reserve. I wish I could remember what it was called though.
Same actually , in one of the scenes i think there was a hunt and the female fox was in trouble.
Animal Farm would kick this book's ass.
Because all books involving talking animals are easily comparable.
