Went on a walk this afternoon, took this quickie: Sky Reflection by tomshandruk, on Flickr Not sure how I feel about it. I like what I did post-process but I think the shot itself could have been a little more interesting.
Nonikai, looking through your other pictures this one has got to be my favourite http://www.flickr.com/photos/dannimagn/5529504446/ You should photoshop out that lampost though... but the mountains are nice and dramatic!
You should photoshop out that lampost though...
Nooooooo
I think we should have a constructive criticism thread. Where someone posts 5 of their favorite photos and the next user has to criticize those five photos in order to post their own and so on, if someone neglects doing criticism then they won't get any of their own.
Nooooooo
Haha really?! Man, it really distracts my eye. Each to their own though.

But I like the idea. I'd say to just enforce that rule in this thread though. There are plenty of ways to talk to the regulars in this thread without clogging up the thread itself; see: Facebook group, PMs, etc.
This thread seems to be for general discussion of photography as-well so if I do make one it might be best to make them separate.
Haha really?! Man, it really distracts my eye. Each to their own though.
I just don't agree with the process of photoshopping the lampost out. It's part of the landscape, for better or worse. It looks like Nonikai lives nearby, I'm sure he could get another shot where the lampost didn't detract from the photo, but rather, added to the image.

I can understand where you're coming from.
I have an idea because I'm bored. I'll post a screenshot of all my picture folders from 2010. I'll pick a few of my favourite photos from the folder of the first person to reply's choice.

http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1071686-The-Constructive-Feedback-Thread?p=28732928#post28732928 Worth a shot... lets see what happens. Also, I just realised 'cause Im first I cant give feedback :( [editline]21st March 2011[/editline] Added this in... might solve a few problems. "Discussing feedback or adding more feedback to a post is ok. You just cant post your own work until you've given feedback on somebody else's, feel free to give feedback without posting your work."

I haven't seen many of your non-Urbex shots Bengley, I like these.
Cueball and I have been talkin', who'd be up for the photoshop contest style threads? could do it as a 'weekly challenge' thing. Not sure if voting/posting about winners would be worth the trouble, but making a thread each week just to give everyone an objective would be neat.
y/n?
Like I've said before, I never go out with the intention to take photos, just keep my camera on me on shoot when opportunities present themselves. However, it'd be cool to see the stuff from everyone else.

Starting on my birthday (Wednesday!) I'm either starting a 365 or 52 project. Probably the 52. But the contest type thing would definitely give me something to do photography-wise in addition to the 52; I've been pretty lost for inspiration lately.
Went for my usual walk around Holyrood Park, saw this guitarist playing at the top of some cliffs, really nice guy.
I still find the co-incidence that you are both regular posters in the photography section and are facepunchers that were unaware of the previous until seeing each others posts extremely amusing.
I know right. It usually goes in this order: Meet person on FP, Arrange to meet IRL. In this case: Become colleague of yet unknown FPer. See random FPer's posts and flickr account and after some confusion, shock and awe, realise FPer is actually colleague.
May have a job taking photos at a new nightclub in the town I go out in a lot, £40 a night as my first paid photo work sounds great. 35mm 1.8 + SB 700 LETS GO. Any advice?
