Gotta be loud and 'present' for people to take ya seriously and pose. Talk to the DJ, they usually have side-work for ya, get a few shots of the bartender doing their thing in an artsy way and people will be impressed. also watch out for the guys who look like convicts. They don't like their picture being taken, I had a fork to my throat once. I literally JUST posted about this incident in the gold section, weird.

Have a shoulder strap for my camera and I usually hold it up to my chest/neck when I'm in closed spaces. What do you mean by presenting? Its full of young people I hope, they want cool profile pictures for their facebook so a lot of people jump on the opportunity. Girl working just had to walk around, hold up the camera and people bunch together. If its that easy then I just have to worry about getting the shot right. I just went through my Flickr and I realized that I don't really like my own pictures. I have no style. No pictures that makes you say Wow that's great. Just boring stuff of my dogs and landscapes.

Hey, I'm just really getting into this. I walked around for a bit with my old Powershot and messed around with the aperture, shutter speed, etc. I have the theory in my head, but I really wanted to put it into practice before I screw up a whole roll of film for my photography class. These are the two I like best. I'd really like some CC and whatever you think i should know before I go running around with an SLR camera. Need to ask, printing about 30 photos (£70 on high quality paper not very large) and I was wondering if you guys could share a good file (A4 probably, should I do A3?) to present them in, presentation is pretty key in these interviews I don't want to come off half arsed. Photobooks take too long to do. Can't help but think after today, I could spend many years at this and still not feel ready. You don't go to a university to study something you're already good at, and I don't feel my photography is bad but could do so much better when I look with more criticism.
