Wow, the public transportation trains look very nice and clean over where you live. Here in Chicago, the L trains are dirty, tagged up, and vandalized by gangbangers and the like.
i have a bunch of nice portraits i took today, but i can't get them on flickr until thursday. and then after i put them on flickr i have to go home to put them on facepunch because FP is banned on my schools IP address. and that may take longer than normal because high school talent show auditions are on thursday and my band is going for it. So THATS why i have no content in forever.

Excellent! Is it just me, or does the bright base of the moon make it seem sort of skewed (when it isn't)?

Well if you're gonna fill the frame you're going to need a ridiculous lens, I wouldn't know exactly how much but I would guess at least 600mm, probably closer to 1000mm, someone else might be better at knowing this than I am.
If you want to go close up without spending a gazillion dollars, then cropping is your best option.
