That's awesome. What was your setup?
you should make more also it is neat seeing bokeh in 3D since usually stereoscopic photos have huge DOFs
Turned my anchor photo into a background. for anyone who wants it

Should have focused on the anchor, simply because it fills the frame.
I tried fixing up the CA a bit: [editline]24th March 2011[/editline] but I agree the focus should be on the anchor.

I've reached my Flickr limit, I should probably upgrade my account. You don't need flickr to upload images
Yeah I know, but I like to upload my photos to Flickr.
I tried fixing up the CA a bit: [editline]24th March 2011[/editline] but I agree the focus should be on the anchor.
then the point of the photo would be completely different
If you wanted to make that the point of the photo then don't fill the frame with the anchor, step back quite a bit if you want to focus on that grass and have the anchor in the background.

MacHaddock I really like these photos, they look a tad over-processed though. Also that place your at looks quite cool, where is it?:
I see. More Stockholm then. [Photo removed on request by rightful owner] [Photo removed on request by rightful owner] [Photo removed on request by rightful owner] [Photo removed on request by rightful owner]
I love the last two, MacHaddock. Though, the locks are pretty funny. [editline]24th March 2011[/editline] And cool-looking.
Also that place your at looks quite cool, where is it?
It's at a café on Gotland. There were a bunch of old cars and car parts there. I'll see if I can find some more. [Photo removed on request by rightful owner] [Photo removed on request by rightful owner] [Photo removed on request by rightful owner]
You have quite an interesting style, what lens do you use and how much do you edit your photos?
5D mk II 24 / 1.4 L 35 / 1.4 L 45 / 2.8 TS 50 / 1.4 85 / 1.2 L 100 / 2.8 L Macro II 135 / 2.0 L 200 / 2.8 L 24-105 / 4.0 L 70-200 / 2.8 L II And I don't really know how to answer on the question of how much editing I do.
Jesus fuck that is a lot of L lenses.
You seem to be relatively inexperienced for the amount lenses that you have. Not necessarily a bad thing, just wondering where all that money is coming from haha.
Nazi gold
You seem to be relatively inexperienced for the amount lenses that you have.
Ah. Yes. Just goes to show good equipment doesn't make for good photos.
Not necessarily a bad thing, just wondering where all that money is coming from haha.
I'm a spoiled fuck with rich parents. No seriously though, it's nazi gold.
Ah. Yes. Just goes to show good equipment doesn't make for good photos.
I put emphasis on 'relatively' because you have better gear than most professionals. Doesn't mean your shots are bad at all :)
Send every good contributor in this thread a 50 or 85 1.2 please, I'm sure you can afford it with all that Nazi Gold of yours.
Send every good contributor in this thread a 50 or 85 1.2 please, I'm sure you can afford it with all that Nazi Gold of yours.
Can I have a 24-105 f/4 L instead :D
5D Mark II, 24-70mm f/2.8, shot from hand.
Did you align the two images by hand too or is there software for that? [editline]24th March 2011[/editline]
If you wanted to make that the point of the photo then don't fill the frame with the anchor, step back quite a bit if you want to focus on that grass and have the anchor in the background.
I think it looks nice how it is.
I also wouldn't mind a 24/1.4 L, I'll let you hide some of that gold under the floorboards in my house if you want.
