This was actually created with a few lower exposed images because I was trying for a little HDR smexyness, but I didn't bother to include the one with the massive purple lines.

I don't see too much wrong with it. The purple makes it look nice and unique and I like the composition. You did the composition and colour well!

My pupils are wide open because I'd just woke up from being quite drunk.

The DOF is small because I was using the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 D at f/1.4.

The DOF with eyes doesn't work the same as traditional cameras, the DOF barely changes with on pupil size.
