The Creative Photography Thread - If It Ain't Bokeh, Don't Fix It
5,000 replies, posted
Considering this is a thread where people post creative photographs they've taken, looking for feedback and praise.... I don't think we're in the wrong for assuming they're his. If they're not he should have said, what reason would he have to not tell us other than to pretend they were his?
He says that his parents bought him his gear yet this is the profile pic on this flickr:

I asked him what gear he used and he replied so hes kinda implying they are his.

This was my point except I was using sarcasm.

took about 20 photos last night, not really happy with any of them. This is the only one I remotely like. Only had one chance at the shot though cos we were in a 'prohibited area' and security came along and told us to go.
Portfolio printed, 22 images to be put into my case file thing and then my write up to be finished. I must say its really nice seeing your own photos on print with good quality paper, viewing angles can be pretty bad though! :v:
it's been a while but I've been itching to kick ass about plagiarism again.
Not showing back up to the thread within the day isn't going to help; explain, apologize, or the boot.

ban mac pls.
Seriously, if he just stole all those pictures, he should be punished. (IMO)
CAR PHOTOGRAPHERS (ferosso!)
I need some suggestions/advice. I'm looking to get in some random portfolio shots of my neighboring business's cars. One guy has a really beefed up Shelby Cobra GT500-
[release](found on flickr, the neighbor's is gunmetal gray with white stripes
[/release]
-and another neighbor has this car that I haven't bothered to figure out what it is but have a partial shot of from some shots I pulled off before-

(anyone know what it is? looks kinda like a mustang in the front)
so, I have few questions, which I think have been answered ages ago but I can't find. Focal lengths for different views of the car, and maybe tips for shooting them in the dark. I'm sure I can figure things out on my own with flashing the car a ton over a long, low ISO/low aperture exposure, but I'd like to hear tried/true methods from people before just diving in.
might do some ~awesome~ experiment shots using my beat up '98 camry
Its a dodge challenger.
I'm not even a car guy haha!

Plagiarising from a friend/one guy is bad but from multiple photographers?
Oh and then going and bragging about gear he doesn't have.

I did think the huge long list of L lenses was a bit off... Most top professionals don't have that much glass, let alone a spoilt kid on facepunch who also happens to take brilliant photos.
Of course, hindsight is 50:50... It'd be easy to spot now.
In any other thread on facepunch, the word 'troll' would have been used a thousand times by now.
stay classy photosection :unsmith:
Banned him, he's clearly been avoiding this thread. If he writes a nice story in the RC, I'll unban him again.
Similar location, this one was done via compositing. And It's certainly sharper. Though I did it via jpeg's not raw files so it doesn't have the kind of color detail I got from the one before.

hahaha! i wish i had some excuse for it, but when i started my 52 weeks project, i kinda used it as an excuse to spend even less time on photography. I'll up my game soon enough though!
Also, my work doesn't compare to half the stuff i've seen in this thread!

You say that, but i don't actually see my work as anything special anymore! When i do like my photography i brag like a mofo' :smug:
Went to a seminary held by Mary Ellen Mark today, it was interesting.
Mine is just shite compared to yours (Latir), so post some photos.
I have nothing to post, but i'll post some stuff soon-ish?
on a completely unrelated, and possibly old, topic: i swear i have lost some of my post count?
