i haven't been able to go out to take photos lately due to exams, so i've been experimenting on finding terrible photos in my lighroom albums, and making them look decent through editing.

What do you guys think of apps and programs like hipstamatic and so on? I tried it for my iPhone, and I'm not entirely disappointed, had to resize though. Using a 3GS by the way.

Bengley, it would have been extra awesome if you had somebody standing in the foreground somewhere, or another centrepiece. I think it seems a little bland. It's cool that it goes full 360 though.

I'm gonna take a whack at a HDR Panorama soon I think, should be fun.

Yesterday I gave my friend my Olympus OM-10, 50mm 1.8, and a roll of Fuji 200 taught him how to use it: the basic rules of photography, a few of my tricks and some good locations. Today he developed them, and quite a few of them came out absolutely awesome, I need to start using higher F stops+colour film more often. He will post them here soon.

so the car body shop that's famous for making the muscle cars used in the dukes of hazard movie is about half a mile down the road from my studio. I went down to see if I couldn't bother the guy about getting a few shots of a car some time, and he just let me into the shop yard with the cars to pick one I like, and get a few shots on the spot 'just cuz'.

After some back-and-forth, we ended up talking websites and doing proper fancy display photos for his cars that make them seem so much more worth $40,000, helping him make a proper website that does the same, and maybe hooking me up with some car enthusiasts who want some nice photos.

I'm going back friday and he's bringing his favorite car.

I'm very impressed with the results he got from my OM-10, I'll be sure to shoot some stuff from it.

I gave my first film for developing today. The shots were taken with my Canon T70 and 70-150mm f3.8 and 28-70mm f3.5-4.5 lens, so I'll see the results tomorrow and post if any picture seems ok.

I also have an Ilford 400 B&W in my camera at the moment, will develop that too when I finish it. Though I'll probably buy colour film afterwards as it I find it more interesting.
