You could always just hang a sheet on a frame or something as a backdrop. Doesn't have to be a wall.
Your room is very clean.

I haven't had any 'inspiration' for like a week now. I actually get really irritated at the thought of trying to take pictures. It'll either be a stupid picture of my brother acting silly, or a really forced looking self portrait.
I need models, locations, and better weather - shit you won't find in ohio.
I did some cinematography today with my friend, we climbed on the top of a car park roof in order to take a time lapse for the first scene, also got 3 exposures on my roll of film which I think came out nicely. Was helping him for a competition that all the other entrants are under 16's who have no idea how to make decent videos, prize is £250.
Here's a unedited snippet from the time lapse, sorry about the rain drops on my lens, started raining halfway through:

f/22, 1/60, iso 400. I think I got the focus slightly off but it is un-noticeable once compressed.

CC?[/QUOTE]DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. I don't like it because you have to look very closely and some records are out of focus so you can't read them at all. Maybe put them in interesting areas of your home and snap a few shots?

The first one makes you wonder how he got there. As for the other two I feel a bit more focus on the instrument and strings while maintaining DOF would have been nicer. EXPERIMENT WITH SILLY IDEAS YOU HAVE

The room is newly built/painted/furnished. Cost about £600 for all the furniture from IKEA, going to spent £100-200 more on artwork etc, wondering if I should print some of my best shots and frame them instead?

Agreed. I am completely out of inspiration. I haven't taken my photos for this week yet and have literally become bored with photography.
I want a new lens!

The bottom two are fabulous, can't really point out anything wrong with them. The top one, however is kind of lacking a point of interest, or a highlight. The bits that are lit up are plain white and the silos don't have a small enough frame presence to make a big contrast. Perhaps if you included some ground in the top one it could have been better, but great job nonetheless.

That's be [b]intense[/b] with some more light on the face, preferably snooted speedlights from hard angles
