Yeah thats the one major issue when using my lenses. My two lenses that I use for this have different sized glass on the very front meaning I get a ring of black around all my images.

I wake up to find that CPT is in red alert emergency shit storm recovery. What the hell happened in the 9 hours I was out? Crazy....

In other news I had the talent show at my school yesterday an my mom took pictures so I'll see if I can post them. (she has the canon rebel, that's how I get dslr photographs)

shitstorm? Nah, we just kinda discussed brianETC/Karlhungus's participatory habits. Honestly, I think a Brian Storey megathread would be a neat idea, dumping ground for his stuff and people can ask questions without feeling like they're derailing another subject.

Really though, life is what you make of it (although circumstances do affect things). But there's no need to envy me - I just try to be proactive with what I do. Don't waste your days at home, get out and appreciate what's around you. I'm sure there's more to where you live than you realise.

By the way, I'll be in Sydney in August. It'd be cool to meet up if I can find the space.

To comment on what everyone is saying about karlhungus, just to get my opinion out there.

I don't like the kind of pictures he does. They look professional and I can tell that they are well made and taken by a photographer who knows what he does, but personally they just aren't my kind of photos.

That's no reason why he shouldn't get to post here though, I think the thread should be open to all who wants to post.
