That sheep actually broke out via that method, he bent the fence out of shape doing that and then lept through it. It was like watching a very strange show on the discovery channel.

Infact that first colour photo of the sheep is it free from captivity.

I remember my dad took me geocaching when I was like 5 or 6 (Actually it must have been letterboxing because I don't think GPS was around yet) and we left this stuffed animal there but I got really sad and didn't want to leave it in the woods alone so I promised myself I would return there one day.
I never did though, maybe I'll go back soon if I can remember where it was.

the lens used is my manual focus Tamron adaptall 2, 28mm f/2.5, it's been pretty much permanently residing on my camera for quite a while now. quite prone to flare, but the flare is almost always blue and looks awesome, i love it

There are ways to mimise the way people perceive you though.

One technique I often try is to take a few photos while moving towards them - then pull the camera away from your face, but stare intently at something behind them, bring the camera back to your eye and take a shot or two of the subject behind them. They'll just think it was their mistake, and carry on.

Of course you upset people. It comes with the territory - but 9 times out of 10, if someone does make a fuss, don't be coy - just walk right up to them and talk to them. Explain what you were doing, how you love to take photos and that you didn't mean to cause offense (which are all true, so you're not standing there bullshitting to their face, just being honest).
Most of the time they'll just be normal people who were a little taken aback. In a lot of those cases, you might even get a better shot by asking for a portrait after you've had a chat.

But of course, there is always that 1/10 that takes serious offence. Just stop any eye contact, and walk quickly away.

I remember hearing a photographer say once (Can't remember who) that you can't forget that there's a person behind the image. All too often photographers are so intent on getting 'that shot' that they neglect the fact that there's a human being on the other side of the lens. I guess that's true in most cases.

Don't really like this, but I'll post it anyway.
