Test with 1600 ISO on the Olympus and gave split toning ago for ~dramatic effect~
Is it noisy?
Not at all. I think it's quite lovely.

I am confused, when you rate disagree you mean it's NOT noisy or it is noisy?
Also, very nice silhouette dude
Not noisy :)

They never ceases to amaze me.
Auras make me understand why people thought up the idea of heaven.

I really like these snowboarding pictures. Kinda wish they had shallower dof - it's kind of cluttered with all the stuff in the background. The frozen movement and the colours, however, are perfect in my opinion.
Also, take a look at my new set! Comments appreciated.

cheers! erm yeah, problem is im using slow zooms and a 50mm prime is not enough reach. Might hire out a 135mm in the future.
[editline]8th April 2011[/editline]
your photos are great! I love the lighting in them. In the first one you see the softbox, lol. But maybe retouch the stoumac area as it's a bit dark.
[editline]8th April 2011[/editline]
but yeah, nice shots

I like this picture of mine, but I am just an amateur. Everyone else's photos are fantastic, they are the only reason I am attempting photography again.

This is a 360° pan so the buildings are actually across the street from each other.
[QUOTE=iWumbo;29038809]I was tripped out by that first picture.

Oh and Welcome back, /B/rother. :)[/QUOTE]
Thanks, mate.
I've been 'unplugged' for a week or so. I feel like I had lost touch with this thread, because coming back to it just now, I'm being more blown away than ever.
Great work team.

I should really stop cramming my work. 3 hours to write an assignment - including references.
It was such a nice day yesterday and the day before, we just sat on the grass for 15 hours. Got some nice shots though.
Some of my latest photos, from a self-developed roll of Ilford FP4+ (if anyone cares)

I really like the last one, the subject stands out completely from the crowd.
cheers, I do like the "window of focus" where both the foreground and background are blurred. It's something that's done commonly in macro photography and I think it's cool when applied to subject on a much larger scale.
What lens/f-stop did you use?
they were with my ME Super, so it would have been my 50mm f/1.7. According to my [url=http://expomat.tripod.com/]ExposureMat[/url] it was f/1.7 at a shutter speed of 1/500
[editline]8th April 2011[/editline]
(by the way, all of you should put one of those in your wallets, if you test yourself once or twice a day in different lighting conditions eventually you'll be able to guess settings pretty damn well)

Alright so I took a bunch of vacation pictures, nothing too creative. I hate the way they turned out, but I'm posting anyway. There are more in my photostream (which is getting really messy). These are the 3 most acceptable, haha.

I'm in love with the second one. So crisp with a soft feel
I like them. I also like how your photos have their own distinctive style to them, like you can tell their bopie photos.
and bopie photos are good.
yeah
