I'm feeling uninspired lately. I also hate going out taking photos on my own, but currently most of my friends are on holiday. And the ones that aren't only want to chill, not come with me to take photos and shit.
Got the exact same problem. Only way to get some bros with me, is to go like "Oh, you just want to sit here, and do nothing? Thats okay, but wont you need some smokes?"
And suddenly you're on your way. Make up an excuse to come with you.

I'd say the first doesn't look fake unless you have the original to compare.

You're right, unless you enhance and look much closer, it looks legit.
I need to find a better sky picture for it though, that one is just a random google image.
It might look better if you flipped the clouds around, so the highlight edges were on the left. That way the shadows match up.
I just got my malaria tablets on prescription for £7.40.
Usually have to pay in the hundreds. Thank god for the area I live in London. Because we have such a diverse population here, with so many people travelling to infected areas, it's cheaper for them to prevent the disease than pay for treatment after people come back.
That's pretty good. I get them for free.

I didn't think even Scotland covered travel medication...
Wow.
wait what the fuck i just read prescription and decided 'lol scotland'
I had to pay £30+ in March for prescriptions, the month before they go free.
:(

Also Malaria drugs are awful, I hope they don't have any great side effects on you.
Half of my friends were basically stuck in bed or had out of focus eyes for a few days while in Costa Rica.
Ok, I'm determined to make this work now:
Did you put any saturation adjustments on there? and what lens was used?
The colours look really intense; even the areas without the flash triggered in the background.
Yes, I have increased the colors a bit, but they where rather strong in the first place. I have set my camera to a vivid profile.

I used a Nikkor 24-70 f2.8 which I had borrowed for the occasion
a few from school, I love how the ektar / XA has rendered the mundane scene (at least for me, anyway).

you develop your film yourself right?
I develop my black and white, I get my colour done at a lab and scan it myself. colour is so easy to fuck up with colour shifts (different colour channels developing at different speeds) that I don't think it's worth the risk. black and white on the other hand is pretty straight forward with a large margin of error.
trippy

I'd love to see an actual staircase like that (I would imagine that it would be possible)
It would be a cool installation piece actually, making weird mirrored rooms (if it hasn't already been done).

Yeah, I'd never mentioned it. Don't really like to either, just creates hassle. I guess for most people here it's irrelevant, since they didn't grow up in Aus.
