You guy's have some really good cameras. I have two, somewhat cheap cameras. A digital Fujifilm SLR S1500 $300 and a Xacti 1080p Camcorder which was about $250 but can also take HD pictures (not nearly as good as my SLR). Even before it was 'big', it was just a term for "we figured out how to add sharpening to porn. HD PORN!" also (like bopie says below) that is technically not an SLR, but a "bridge" camera; somewhere between SLR and point-n-click
Hey, I've been working with the ol' 6mp Pentax and my pics are alright (I hope :s hehe) http://www.flickr.com/photos/59281520@N04/ untitled by harry.quast, on Flickr

The problem though is I haven't gone out to photograph anything in months. I'm afraid I'm not a very good photographer and I can't quite get any inspiration from anything. I have a cheap set up so no fancy zoom lenses or anything. What you see is what you get. Could anyone suggest to me how I could get back into the habbit of photography? I'll post some exampled of what I've done in the past, but my profile for deviant art is under my user name as well.
also (like bopie says below) that is technically not an SLR, but a "bridge" camera; somewhere between SLR and point-n-click
Eh gotta start somewhere. I can't afford much and it's a decent camera in its own.
Eh gotta start somewhere. I can't afford much and it's a decent camera in its own.
yeah i went from a fujifilm point and shoot from 2003 - to a canon "bridge" camera from 2006-2009, then a canon rebel xs SLR in 2010.

I always try to not be contrived and take shots of things in the moment. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with your photos if you shoot from the 'heart' not from the 'mind'. And dude, buy an real slr. You get get an old cheap on like mine for practically nothing, then just shoot, shoot, shoot. I was real self conscious while on the street at first tbh, but that's starting to go now. Hope this helped matey.

Fucking sweet shot. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline]
i fuckin hate ireland nice photo though
Thanks. I really enjoyed my time there. Was a few years ago now, but I only remember good things. Great, friendly, open people. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] I developed the roll of film myself. Didn't do a great job - it's covered in scratches and stuff, but I sorta like it.
oh don't get me wrong, the people are absolutely lovely. The place is just awful though, overpriced, you have to pay to go to all the nice places.
