I like this.
Yes I knew it was vibrations!
the 24-70 f/2.8L doesn't have IS
Again, everything else is sharp. If the camera had moved, It'd be blurry
Too lazy to read the rest of the posts, so idk if this was stated.
Cars naturally undullate while driving. The suspension allows the car to make a slight wave pattern as it moves forward. Normally this is not felt by the driver, but at higher speeds the amplitude increases and it's more noticeable. So what you're catching is the slight undullation of the cars as they move.
This is why on major highways if you look at the road, it'll be slightly wavy, because most cars match the same period in their wave and apply pressure to the same parts pretty equally.

Oh shit I got served.
[editline]22nd April 2011[/editline]
Oh wait, couldn't the blur in street lights be attributed to wind moving the poles they hang on? I see this all the time here in SD, but then again it's pretty windy here all the time.

She ain't all that great to be honest, tried hard to work with lighting etc to make her look good. Is there anything I should change in lightroom for that shot?

That's no way to go about getting pussy.

This is not especially creative. But I took my 70-200 2.8 out for a walk today, and I had the idea of shooting birds - I thought "What's the deal about teleconverters and 500mm primes when all you have to do is sneak".
Everything I learned was that the interesting birds are arrogant little cunts that flee when you even try to look at them. So.. I had to settle with a boring duck. Oh, and I forgot that the camera was overexposure compensating so I had to fiddle a little with it in gimp.

maybe get a bit of split toning going on, make it look nice and summery.
maybe get a bit of split toning going on, make it look nice and summery.
I did very subtle split toning in a few of the shots, I'm not up to re-editing now though.
