So Walmart doesn't develop film anymore. When a major retailer like that ends something you know it's starting to die :smith:
critics? [editline]23rd April 2011[/editline] aargh! The browser is messing up the colors
even if it's messing up the colours it still looks great!
too much yellow, which is washing out everything. /trying to be constructive. it's a good shot mate.
Thanks I figured out the problem: I used to save my pictures from Photoshop using Adobe RGB (default I think). Most browsers (and many monitors) only support sRGB, which doesn't have quite as many colors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_RGB_color_space I just have to deal with it. As many monitors doesn't support it, it may be best to save using sRGB.
So Walmart doesn't develop film anymore. When a major retailer like that ends something you know it's starting to die :smith:
whatwhatWHAT ...not that I wouldn't go to a proper lab for that stuff anyways, walmart and walgreens do crap printing half the time. It's convenient if all the shots are just snapshots and the like.
Here is with some more blue added: For comparison: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2668975/Creative%20Photography/Diverse%20for%20deling/cutofftree.jpg [editline]23rd April 2011[/editline] Maybe to much blue?

I got another pic from the same shoot. The colors are somewhere in between the previous examples:
thanks. anyone have some tips for me? i know i need to get a bigger back drop because using 2 a4 pieces side-by-side isn't gonna cut it for big things :v:
you need to use some more (or brighter) frontal lighting. other than that, it's good! "paint.jpg" ;-)
A pic my father took some time ago. "God Sky" A scenery pic idea while I was outside a while ago in the storm at night.
I would actually like the second one if there was a good foreground with the cars removed, perhaps like a hooded figure standing in the rain?
I would actually like the second one if there was a good foreground with the cars removed, perhaps like a hooded figure standing in the rain?
now that you mention it I'll take that in mind and keep an eye on the weather reports.

Peel away the rest of the front of the foil so you can see the orange turning to white and try and get a better angle, possibly find a way to restrict the top bit from showing the lung cancer pic.
we are going to plain packaging soon, so it wont matter after that. but thanks for the reply, i'll do that.

Definitely the shoes.
I think it's the shoes. Definitely the shoes.
Words out of my mouth. I actually think it adds a little to the whole picture. One of those subtle 'juxtapositions'.
yeah it's definitely the shoes not anything else
yeah it's definitely the shoes not anything else
No man that stump that she's standing on is really cool looking
No man that stump that she's standing on is really cool looking
The shoes outshine the stump be far in the second photo he posted
damn i wish I could put my finger on it [editline]23rd April 2011[/editline] if not my whole hand
It wasn't a planned shoot. I just got the idea when my gf and I walked past that spot. "My boots shoes are made for walking" - Claire Johnston But I totally see what you mean. I experience it all the time; her shoes ruin my shots [editline]23rd April 2011[/editline]
damn i wish I could put my finger on it [editline]23rd April 2011[/editline] if not my whole hand
Rosie Palm and her five sisters
