Not sure what camera he's rolling with, but on a bright sunny day I can pump up to 800 iso and have barely any noise, but then again the D90 handles noise like a champ.

I have this here lovely Olympus E420, just using a kit lens though.

I try to stay away from 1600, because the noise just gets so unmanageable then.

I don't know, personally I'm not a fan of them. I remember people by their avatars a lot more readily, so I've been pretty messed up the last few pages. :P

I must say though, I'd proper sport a 50 1.4.
