I know it's a bit out of focus. But my question is what do you think of the post-process?
I'm digging the soft focus/low contrast, but as Adius said it'd be better if the front tire was in the entire frame. The tree in the shot is also a bit distracting.
H'lo. Feel free to critique.

I just love that color. I don't know what the fuck to take pictures of :v:
I recommend either then Canon T1i or the Nikon D3000. I can personally vouch for the T1i. It's a decent Starter DSLR for the price. I love my T1i.
If he does decide to go Nikon I'd go with the D3100 instead of D3000. I'd also choose the 550D (T2i) over 500D (T1i).
Oh yeah, I forgot those came out. You can go with the D3100 or the 550D/T2i if you have the cash, but if money's tight go with the older models.

I'd mainly just like to know how the calculator controls it.
It's actually a ridiculously simple program that works as an intervalometer.

198/365 - 'hipster nascar'
I've been pretty lazy about shooting lately, alot has happened over the past week. I did make an effort to go play with some lighting tonight though.

crop it so it's just the 3 pictures in the middle square. you don't need all that mess.

I'm afraid to start a 365, I want to so bad but missing just one day will ruin me. I am OCD like that
I'll let you all in on a little secret.
There are maybe 2 or 3 entries that i've fudged a day late :3:
the point is that it keeps you active, photographically.

Just developed my 135mm film. Here's a sneak peak. The black spot to the left, is the scanners fault.

pff, during my 365 I'd go a week without posts and make it all back up in a day of inspiration
Hello, this is my first time posting in this amazing thread.
Anyway, I would like C&C on some photos from my yesterday's photowalk.
Also please note that my laptop monitor is very bad so if any of these look a bit too overexposed, underexposed, too saturated or generally messed up, know it's mostly my monitor's fault. :shobon:
Please, click these thumbnails for full pictures.

I'm not experienced with HDR so I'm not really sure how these should look.
Attempted to order my SB 600 this morning through camerabox, paypal wouldn't redirect me to the site to finish the order. Sat on hold for ages but hopefully getting it sorted.

I love the top one :h: and I like the 2nd one too - but I think the 2nd should have been rotated slightly to the left to straighten it out. I would have also removed the lens flare in Photoshop. But what do I know? Not like I am any good at photography I just enjoy doing it. :v:

[img]http://static.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img] Thank you very much. I tried removing the lens flare but i'm just not good at it. Whenever I remove it, I either lose that warm haze in the sky or the color on the sign. As for the tilt, I never noticed that it's not straight. I'll watch out for that.
I don't consider myself good too, I just do it for fun. Thanks.
Oh, and could you fix the links in your quote so that they link to the full images instead of the thumbnails.
Some more I took the other day:

DOF looks great! I think the background and lack of light makes me dislike the last photo, maybe if there was some light hitting the guys face like in the former two photos?

Have any of you guys got good examples of bounce flash photography? Camera-box fucked my order up so I won't get my flashhead till next week.

Annoyingly the sun was setting when I took those, as you can see in the last photo the hill is lit up.
it's basically in that transition from snow to ice so yeah it's cold

Blur, what camera do you own?
Hey Daijitsu I hate your watermark with a passion so I fucked around in Photoshop and made you these, tell me if you like them and I'll send you the .psd's

also I think imgur fucked with the quality
thanks for the effort, but the look doesn't really catch me. I used to do calligraphy so brushy fonts are really appealing to me, was hoping to eventually hand-paint a logo and use that to superimpose instead of relying on a font that I found and tweaked
But, I think we can both agree that there's FAR worse I could have done, like lightroom's generic font (c) ROC PHOTOGRAPHY or a giant flashy colored logo with opacity or horribad attempts at gold or silver metallic reflections on Papyrus font
If I used watermarks I'd make my own logo, like devon hutchins, I like his
