I'm sorry, but it's a pretty shit image. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but it's way too noisy, there's no actual subject matter, and the edits that divide the image only serve to further obscure the subject.
The Creative Photography Thread - Shit Post Edition.
Here's the last of my photos I took on Tuesday (the shitty ones):

I was practicing on portraits with my new lens, next time I go out I'll take pictures of something other than my friend.

Whoa, as much as I despise watermarks with pictures, the typography in this is impressive
it's fucking helvetica light with some weird font tagged on the end.
Oh, and could you fix the links in your quote so that they link to the full images instead of the thumbnails.
Sure thing.
Also I got a bit bored and did an "attempt" at removing the lens flare. link

I like the expression on this one. :v:
Whoa, as much as I despise watermarks with pictures, the typography in this is impressive
even if it IS helvetica it's a good use of it. Not intrusive to the space around it, and pops out a bit on its own.
also liking the aperture logo, reminds me of when I was contemplating naming my stuff something similar to Aperture Photo Labs, but [unsurprisingly] everybody with half a crash course in photography already thought of it in every form, none of whom even vaguely referenced portal or do cosplay photography at all :argh:
btw i wank over helvetica, it just can't fail

Got woken up at 8am today by a ring at the door and a girl holding a package (i wish she was holding my package heh hehaehehEHe)
so being tired as shit; I go outside and take some pics of it.

I mount that motherfucker and take some test shots. I put my focus on a wine bottle and realize the focus is really off. :smith:

While browsing forums I heard of this problem and something about "micro adjustments". I take it I have to get it micro adjusted or something? where do I get this done at? does it cost anything?
Damn, I was looking forward to spending the weekend near the mountains taking some photos. :(
Sorry to continue the derailing but I'm reppin' the arial crew here

"micro adjustments" is kind of a fine tuning thing within the camera, though this sample looks to be way off.
contact sigma about sending it in to be fixed

Can't I just go to a photography store to get it adjusted? I really don't want to send it back and wait for another lens. My shipment was already delayed so I had to wait ages already.
this is really bumming me out..
my 50mm seems to have slight focus issues, what do I do? It's a canon 1.8

no Sigma has to do it themselves, although if you bought it from a store you can see about replacing it. just make sure the replacement is in good order as well :P

shit...so I have to send it back to Hong Kong and wait for a new lens? I don't even know how to send it back, i have no experience with stuff like this.
i've been having such bad luck lately, I can't even catch a break.
Call up customer support. No doubt they have a process for this.
Yeah, I was just hoping to avoid this. It will take another month to send it back and receive a new lens and I don't want to wait that long again. But if that's the only option then I guess I'll have to.
