I see what you mean mate. I just tried to get a s low as I could, and basically my chin touched ice at one point hehe.
Jeez. -34 Celcius outside right now. Made this panorama earlier today: Winter Rainbow!
Yesterday I was assisting some friends in making a film and my friend with the afro asked me to take some of those generic gun poses of him. The bottom two look underexposed.
The bottom two look underexposed.
They are, had trouble settling for a decent exposure without blurring as it was getting dark and my subjects wouldn't stay still.
Jeez. -34 Celcius outside right now. Made this panorama earlier today: Winter Rainbow!
It's a halo. Which makes it even more wonderful :) Have any of you guys ever seen a sun dog or a false sunrise? They're fucking cool.
Try bumping up the brightness in Lightroom.
I did. That's the brightest I could go without making it look overly grainy even with noise reduction.
Film, Hooray! Copier, crap.

So, I want to stick my 50mm Pentax-F SMC on my Canon T1i, but I cant find any sort of mount adapter for it. Halp?
I finally started using my Flickr bike1 by LeoMorton, on Flickr bike2 by LeoMorton, on Flickr CC is welcome and appreciated. I don't like the post processing I did on the first one at all, I'll probably redo it sometime.

Catching the northern lights is hard it's amazing that i can see this from my yard
can you wander into those mountains a bit so you don't have street lights glaring into your camera? also clean your lens
You LUCKY FUCKER.
They're gone as it is. I will do it next time. These were impromptu shots really.
I wish I could see Northern Lights....
One ring to rule them all... My mate got me this for my birthday, 'cause I'm a massive LOTR nerd :D Just testing out macro photography on the kit lens I got with my 450D. Might be a tad overexposed, all I had for lighting was an animation lightbox and a sheet of paper. It was really hard to get it right, this was the best I could do. I'm still happy with it though :) One Ring by Kieran Duncan, on Flickr
Would have absolutely loved this one if the dog in the back wasn't doin' thangs. That first one would have been great without that second dog in the background... unlucky.
That first one would have been great without that second dog in the background... unlucky.
It was kind of cool at first, because she was staring at the camera as well. But as soon as that shutter began closing, she thought that it would be a good idea to start squirming around.
Mucking around with raw, pretty satisfied with the results. Raw is really fascinating how much control you have over the picture. Your keyboard has a nice font and yes! RAW is pretty awesome when it comes to post editting!
Your keyboard has a nice font and yes! RAW is pretty awesome when it comes to post editting!
RAW for sports photography = anhero. I went to my cousin's floorball game in Richmond a few weeks ago, ended up shooting in raw for like 60 shots when I realized I only had like 15 left... what a waste. 4 gb card :[
just some pictures I took with the shutter speed turned down a ways. they are shaky on purpose, I like the ghosting effect, especially the one of the girl.
